Got me a new job in security!

Just needed to shout that out. Been a very hectic couple of months, but now I'm finally working again. New collegues are actually kinda epic... I sorta walk between tanks (with tanks being really muscular guys with a bad sense of humor) and I'm responcible for keeping the peace and quiet between people who have no home, no money, and basically nothing to loose. It's not real complicated until one starts freaking out and you need to get that person calm and reasonable enough for them to be helped out with their problems. I notice now that some people don't really want to be helped, and will end up living on the streets simply because they cannot work within the system. Sucks really. Kinda fucked up to see a young woman with a 3-year-old walking back out into the rain because she refuses any kind of help.

Sunday morning! Which is weird, because I normally never see sunday mornings :p

Anyways, yesterday was pretty good. My daughter got Pokepark 2 from my mother, so we spent most of the day playing that. Kind of a weird game actually if you really start thinking about it. You meet Pokemon who are strangers at first, but after you beat them up, they will be your friends. Is that a life lesson here? A whole Might Makes Right thing going on here? Or do I need to get more coffee and wake up before making this kind of weird accusations at a children's game for age 3 and up? :p

Anyway, last night we went to see Disney on Ice. It was pretty decent actually. I'm not a real Disney fan, but my daughter, girlfriend and mother wanted to see it, so I figured I just tag along. My girl and daughter always like it. It was pretty cool actually. The ice-skaters were very good, especially the lead one (which makes sense) who played Ariel, Tinkerbel and Barbie.

I still can't get over the fact that the make-up done for the whole Toy Story thing was actually very sick. Plastic parts attached to people to make them look like toys. It was pretty weird. Plastic hair for Ken? The guy must have been sweating his head off. And the make-up was weird on everybody. Made everything look surreal. Not Disney-surreal, but more like Clive Barker-surreal.

Don't know if that was a good thing :p

I made a mistake.

An enormous mistake.

I introduced my daughter and my girlfriend to Magic the Gathering.

Which ended up in them loving it, playing until 2 in the morning, and just swapping cards all over the place. Now I'm buried chin-deep in old Magic cards, and actually having a blast. I decided to drag my old black collection out of the dust to see what I was missing, and how much it was worth. Guess I was a lot richer than I thought! Not that I'm ever going to sell it...

Also got my best friend back on it, and we've been playing with the four of us ever since. Some really cool cards came out in the last couple of years, and I'm really enjoying collecting them again.

All I need now is a rich grandmah to sponsor me :p

Just finished Mass Effect 2 in time to wait one and a half month for Mass Effect 3. Maybe I should just play it again as an evil bitch or a goody biotic.

And why am I talking about ME on a website full of beautiful people?

Decided it is time for an afternoon off. Hello Mass Effect 2 and all the DLC's!

Well, life is getting back to normal again. Got myself a decent income, and things with my girlfriend are going very good. Which is amazing after almost seven months. Usually it ends before it reaches six

Anyway, now that I'm getting a decent income, I'll be trying to find myself a house.

And my daughter is addicted to Diablo 2 :p

Well, the new year has been good so far... no global conflagration yet,m and I'm actually working near-fulltime again.

Time to look for a house

Well, that was a good weekend!

Went to visit some old friends on friday, and came to realize everybody is getting old. By the time it was 11 o'clock, both my friends were jawning. So I figured I leave them alone, and find someone else to hang out with. I text my best friend, who says he's in town in a bar on a birthday party. I figured I could use another beer, so I move my ass over there, but by the time I reach the bar, the tabs have been paid, and everybody is going home. Damn boring!

So I get home, get online and talk to my ex wife who invites me over. Eventually, I got home at 1 in the afternoon after laughing my ass off at Modern Family. Problem was that I was supposed to go to my girlfriends' birthday in the evening. Well, met some of my inlaws, and they're pretty okay. I was just braindead after being awake for 38 hours again...

Sunday sucked ass as I spent 7 hours in public transportation to sell my trailer. So far, no sale.

So today I decided to do jack shit except slaughtering zombies

I think in my last blog I said I should blog more often. The result; no blogs for the entirety of september. The reason? Too damn busy with finding a new job, hooking up with old friends, travelling way too much across the entire country and spending as much time with my girlfriend as possible.

I also said I needed to get my cam and post pics. Well, got the cam, but I got shit in pictures. I actually feel kind of boring now

Some bad news first; Can't find a job, probably have ADD, and I want to have sex with some of my friends.

Good news; My daughter started playing Magic the Gathering and getting all my inlaws hooked on it, I'm trying to find a new direction, job-wise, for my life, and some of my friends want to have sex with me.

Lost my job.

On purpose.

Completely irresponcible I decided not to go anymore. My girlfriend moved to her new home last sunday, with the help of her brother and me. And instead of leaving on sunday evening to go back to Almelo, and to work on monday, I decided to stay. Not just because Char needed me to be there, but also simply because I figured I had nothing more to go to in Almelo. Except the job. And the job sucks.

Current situation; my stuff is now spread across 4 different houses. None of them actually belonging to me. I have most of my stuff stashed in Uelsen, in Germany, where I was going to live with my former girlfriend and a bunch of friends. All of a sudden, all those friends moved somewhere else, and I'm now stuck with a house which I cannot use. Well, house might be too big of a word, since it's a trailer. Currently, it's actually the most expensive safe box I ever owned.

The rest of my stuff is scrambled somewhere between Almelo, where I've been with my uncle since last december, and Mander, where I was supposed to go and live. Problem is that I have no clue how that is going since I haven't been there in a week because the situation didn't allow it. I'll be going there in an hour or so to see if it's actually still there, or if someone bought it out from underneath us.

The fourth house would be my girlfriend's house. Where I got some clothes now.

I really need to get a place of my own again. I haven't had one for 8 month now, and that seems to be a lot harder than it is. Yes, I have a lot of friends and family where I can crash if need be, but it's not a place I can call my own. A house I can decorate how I want it, a place where I can just chill my ass out and relax.

I had a couple of good long talks with Char, and that really brightened up my days. Time to get my ass in gear and start going for it again. Sent out several job applications in Zwolle, where she lives, as she'll allow me to stay in her house for a while. After that, I hope to be getting my own place, sell the trailer, get my shit in order, and live again.
