Second blog of my Vienna trip.
The week there was ungodly hot, like hotter than fucking South Africa, and the building in Europe do not cope with heat well. No AC, not even fans.... We almost died.
But the place itself, its people and its beer was awesome. It so incredibly clean there and everyone is polite. Struck me as odd, I was sitting outside one evening around 23:30 enjoying a cold brew and a lovely breeze when the old lady next to me got up and walked into the hotel. Now while this in and of itself wasn't strange, she left all her things at her table totally unattended! Handbag, cellphone on the table purse in clear view! I was gobsmacked. This isn't something you do in sunny SA... I found myself compulsively watching her things for her, making sure no one nicks anything. But no one even batted an eyelash at it.
Learned a lot of things while I was there. Mostly math and statistics related which for Lumo's sake I shall not speak of here

Hahahaha -- the reindeer thing. My cousin has something like that in her garden. Looks totally ridiculous if you don't trim it regularly.
And OMG. True Blood! So sick of the "Sooki!" + *long woeful gaze from Bill* O_o;; I mean, it was always a bit stupid, but the production was great and the acting of the supporting characters was strong.
I haven't seen those 2 shows you've mentioned. I'll look them up!
