We are all going to die. I intend to deserve it. -Winston Churchill
This week has been spent in desperate search of my own photographic eye. It is very strange to search through thousands of pictures you've taken and not recognize most of them. There's a lot to be said for having a plan for your art, where you want to go and what you want to say with it, but right now I'm having a lot of trouble nailing that down. My past work is sporadic and disconnected, I'd like to move in a single direction for a while and learn to speak the local dialect.
I'd really like to see photographs others enjoy, and why. If anyone wants to give me a link or a post, that would be amazing.

I'm a member again!
...wait, I didn't pay for this... I'm too broke.
So who gave me the subscription? Out with it! I want to thank you properly.

Today is a good day.
My new toy arrived, and I've finished cleaning it. An original model Canonet, the 45mm f/1.9 one. Super excited to see how this first roll of film turns out, I should have it back by Monday. No idea how long it'll take to get them scanned, but I'll do my best to post at least one here.
I've also managed to find myself some Afga ProPack 200, so that should keep me busy for a while. Keep an eye on my flickr folks, there will be more to see here quite shortly

Cameras!
I've managed to coax the film SLR into usable repair, and I've got my Argus ready to go to work. Might have a special new toy here soon, but I don't want to jinx it by talking too soon. Loose lips sinking ships and all.
Anyway, I've been getting some work doing freelance photowork here in Seattle, and I'm all kinds of excited to do some team-based shooting with a few friends. One has a Holga 120 that I'm very excited to play with.
Cheers.
