The Shorten Suite : The 39 Week 31 Round Up/Update [T39W31RU/U]
My daughters, it seems, have been sick most (if not all) of the week... I'm hoping that they're feelin' better by tomorrow AM, but we'll see.
it's always so sad/somber when my spawnlings are sickish... their usual energy levels are sporadic - and, of course, there's the demn sickness itself
( this particular "a'da" does NOT do well with the "v" word *sighs* - I'm starting to run out of towels and can't afford to replace blankets or bedding
)
...who knows, though, maybe they'll be their usual energetic bundles of pure chaos? for example, from the 13th :
"Jae Lain-Rhose & C.J. Rhose Might Just Be Hungry" (a mere 20mins after they'd finished lunch, claiming to be full)

I'm aware of my hallucinagenic pheremones - I mean, how else have I ever dated, let alone been flirted with (even though mostly by men, there still must be SOMEthing)...
it's become apparent that my hugs must be of the medical variety...
in the past few weeks I've gotten a large share online of "I miss/need your/Thom/Grr hugs" - since they're specifically stating my hugs, as opposed to A hug...
it may relate to the hallucinagenic pheremones in some fashion, but it still seems more medical than hallucinagenic since they've not seen me in quite some time and by now the hallucinagenic factor has had to have worn off.
My new shoes arrived yesterday - while they were just out of my price range, a friend ( who was sick of me talking about it
) sent me an amazon gift card to pay for it.
*coughs*bastard*coughs*
but, hey, new shoes... my "old" pair was getting a bit on the bad side - enough hole son the soles that walking through wet snoe meant wet socks all day *sighs*
and that's about it, other than watching a lot of DVDs/netflix last weekend... so very exciting, neh? (heh)
though I do think the subject title of this week's post might make an intriguing name for a poem *ponders*
