There I Was, Just Minding My Own Business, When SUDDENLY... A Post!
It's kind of crazy to think that, in a mere week and a day, the youngest of my daughters will be turning 5.
Clio, my imaginative bundle of overdrama and affection that was born under a Blue Moon... 5. Already. Wow. Has it really been so long?
The relationship between her and her older "sissy" is definately an intriguing one and half the time it's hard to tell who the true instigator is.
While I COULD daresay that whatever her sister may lack, she makes up for in spades - but for as different as they may be, there ARE similarities.
And, of course, they are both steadily growing and changing weekly, if not daily, and anything "lacking" may have completely changed by the next.
One moment soft-spoken and fine playing solo, the next not wanting to play alone and prone to little "fits" of violence - Oi!
( not truly a surprise, I suppose, as her sister also has/had that little "violent streak" - though Jacqueline was never a solo player )
BUT, I love the chaotic interactivity between these two and how, despite their fights, they will stick up for each other tooth-and-nail.
I no longer have any idea what to expect (if I ever did!) of the future regarding my angelic beasties, but I think I'll enjoy the trip.
and, of course, I'll enjoy Clio's affectionate side while it still lasts and she remains the overdramatic snugglebunny.
( Jacqueline still has it, but it's lessened - kind of like a kitty, she loves it IF she instigated it, otherwise it's "icky" *smirks* )
"In Other News" ... today's been the 15th day of this sore throat and/or coughing and/or lack of ability to speak.
I finally "gave in" yesterday, after trying the OTC recommendations to no avail, and filled an amoxicillin prescription...
admittedly, I was told to only fill it if it got worse - but while it never worsened, it hadn't gone away, DEMN IT!
So... here's hopin' that the 'mox finally/hopefully "fixes" these two weeks of annoyance.
While, yes, I'm certain a few people have been happy I've hardly been able to speak for most of this time, it's made things quite rough!
ANYways... here's to health and the passage of time, I'm gonna listen to the sounds of the storm as I prepare to crash for the eve.
