Troublemaking Me?
it appears that I have gotten the building caretakers in trouble with management - completely by accident. My lease renewal was under my door, so I brought it in to the office while they were still open (of course!). they were "shocked" that I'd "taken so long" in returning it since the re-sign bonus had already expired. when I told them I had just gotten it they were 'not impressed' (so to speak)... it seems that they'd given it to the caretakers, telling them it was time sensitive, two weeks ago!
the manager herself was just leaving ( good timing, thom!
), but asked if I can remember how often I'd gotten any dated materials from them and when - I could only remember one offhand (that was dated) and that I'd gotten it maybe 3-4 days after the date at the top. She mentioned that they always post-date the material so that it should be given to residents on the date the material is dated (ruh oh!)...
