The Ever-Lovely World Of A Sick Child...
my eldest daughter, Jacqueline, has gotten progressively sick all morning
what started upon waking up as just her head hurtin' and feelin' a little warm progressed where she wanted to sleep on the couch but instead got... sick.
thankfully, mostly, just on the living room floor so I could gag while clean it up relatively easy enough. *ugh* (I do not do well with... sick).
...she's been in the bathroom since, tellin' me that her tummy still hurts and that she doesn't want to leave the bathroom
poor t'ing ... wish I had more than just heavy duty naproxen on hand - after all, I don't want t'kill my li'l monster! she's taking it pretty good, though, like a pro. amazing, since a scratch becomes a deadly disease... but it seems being sick/ill is survivable. *ponders*
Clio, unfortunately, wasn't helping (though she's gotten better now and is playin' ok on her own while asking her usual weird outta-nowhere questions and only mildly complaining about having to play alone).
*sighs*
the "fun" part of parenting [ please note the sarcasm ].
Hopefully she'll make it the 6+ hrs 'til their "mama" comes to pick 'em up (I admit, I tried calling to let her know, but no answer - even though I'd spoke to her mother this mornin' when Jacqueline was merely feverish... which didn't help one iota).
