I'm 25!!!!

I'm Back

Where do I start since the last blog, I really need to get on doing this much sooner. Lets go back two weeks : Friday night I get a phone call that my mom had a seizure, they found a mass on her brain. If any of you know me, you know my past with my mom fighting breast cancer everywhere in her body and how I am always present when this happens. So now, during this phone call I'm 3 hours away, I pack up and head out that night to catch her the next morning. The two weeks leading up to now were filled with long nights and lots of struggling with her recovery. It's hard to watch someone you know so well stare into your face and just blanky stare. It was the biggest relief to watch her progress and return to mostly her normal self. another week and she will be back on her feet without a walker! so its mostly good news on my part. I'm back in the Jerz just making life as normal as it can be, when you want to be 200 miles away.

This weather begs to be enjoyed, I get the itch that its time for a road trip.

its time like this when I wish girls like the character in elizabethtown actually existed.

Today I'm 24, wow...when did this happen?

Anyway just another day for me, more doctors visits for mom. Work as usual, guess there aren't any personal days in life left once you've hit a certain age.

It tears me inside to think of the evil we as people can inflict upon other people. It happens to people who dont deserve it, and then we are left to try as best we can to mend the broken pieces.

Its hard to find the right words because you leave me speechless.
