It's raining here. But it's really warm so my french windows are wide open so I can hear all of London alive outside. Actually, London will be hearing me, because I have the wonderful sounds of Billie Holliday on the stereo. Might brighten up someone's evening if they hear it echoing through the Camden night.
This week has been rather good. Seen a few gigs. But tomorrow will be even better. I'm playing a gig with my band tomorrow night for the first time in ages so I'm really looking forward.
Tonight however, I'm just relaxing in my house. I've got someone coming over in 20 minutes for a late night rendez-vous! So I thought I'd have a browse on SG for a bit now.
I'm so pleased I'm back on here now. It really is great talking to all you guys.

Ok, so I haven't been here in a while because I've been all over the place (geographically obviously). I'm now back home and back on here.
Summer is starting to shape up quite nicely and I've really had a fantastic month back in London catching up with everyone.
Tomorrow I'm going to see Death Cab For Cutie in Manchester. I'm really looking forward to it. The new album is superb. I thing The Ice Is Getting Thinner may well be my track of the year.

I just worked all day. Now I'm going to a Japanese restaurant in a historic walled city. Man, you have to love England. But on the down side, I hate leaving London for anywhere that's not New York or Paris.

So yesterday, I was driving to the movies and couldn't decide what to put on my iPod. I was just in the mood for something simple and primal so I ended up with New Jersey by Bon Jovi blasting through the speakers. Man, that's a great album! Bon Jovi are the only band of their kind that I like. But anyone who had hair like they did in the 80's is ten times cooler than I'll ever be. In a funny way, Bon Jovi are so uncool that they are cool. Actually they transcend cool!
Was gutted to hear about Ritchie Sambora getting done for drink driving (despite having been to rehab twice last year!). But like I said- transcendental cool!
Bon Jovi, I salute you, your hair and your band.
