hmmmm nothing really to write about, as usual, so i'll just make some statements.

i can't wait for my vacation on the second week of august. my friends, dave, mike, and i are going to Gen Con for all four days.

if you like wine try st. julians red heron. i'm dubbing it "red heroin". it's possibly the best wine i have ever tasted.

i went to a friends casket viewing today. he died of a heart attack at age 32 by the side of the road as he rode into work on his bicycle. an alcoholic since his late teens he lost his family, driving privlidges etc. the tragedy i see is not in his death, that was the end result of his abuse of his body, but in the fact the man was brilliant and have done great things.

my friend chris and i went to a chinese buffet before we stopped at the funeral home. this was his fortune: "friends long absent are coming back to you" needless to say it unsettled him a bit and he refused to touch it any further after reading it so i kept it.

i bought a set of viking runes and a book on the virtues of being reckless.

lost my temper at work today, not a pretty sight. i felt bad about it and apologized.

in other news i have joined the ranks, along with speedphreak , as a minister of the Universal Life Church.

ummm today i discovered how good humus mixed with feta cheese served with fried pita chips is.

hmmmm... i've read alot of good reviews about this band called wolfmother so i bought it this weekend. ok, so they ripped off every great song from the 70's. not a bad cd mind you but it sounds like every 70's rock song you ever heard.

i just recieved my 20 year high school reunion notice today.

hmm, $50 to catch up with people i didn't want to know 20 years ago.

to go or not to go? that is the question.

i saw the movie serenity back in january. i loved it so much i ordered the enitre season on DVD, the graphic novel and a book with sci-fi authors discussing the cult status of the show and i also found a copy of the RPG. i just recieved the DVDs in the mail today.

it's 11:15 in the morning...

i just watched the entire (and only) season of firefly in one sitting. i am now a very sad man. why can't the sci-fi channel pick this show up?

eh, nothing to write about. i'm just ripping CDs to my hard drive. i just wonder how many CDs i can get on a 320GB drive.
