wow, it's been over a month since my last post.

some countries have riots over politics and elections. some countries have riots over hunger,religion, hell even over soccer. what do we riot over in america? videogames...... all the news about the playstation 3 antics makes me feel embarassed and ashamed to be an american.

in honor of the approaching Halloween i put up the scariest pic of myself i could find. it was either the one you see now or me in my kilt. i tossed a coin.
i'm on vacation this coming week. things i need to do: pay my slightly overdue property taxes ( i forgot! ), write a letter to my ex-girlfriend who wrote me last month to see how i was doing, work out an exercise /eating program, i'm sick and tired of being fat and tired :-P
well, it's 4 am and i just finished shaving my head. i must go to bed so i can get up in time to meet with Nopantsdave and possibly SYH to see "one flew over the cukoo's nest" playing at the kalamazoo valley museum.

what a week at work 
all kind of machine problems. i have a weeks worth of work make up. my job is that far behind. also, we had an emplyee seriously hurt. he fell off of a work platform on a machine ( he fell through a gap in the safety railing ) and landed on a metal bar below. 5-7 fractured ribs and a bruised lung later.... he has been doing the job for 17 years. he is also married to the woman who was mildly electrocuted earlier this year. oy vey.

doing an overtime marathon this month. last week i did 32 hours of overtime (including working saturday and sunday) and i agreed to 16 more this week. i saw my two week pay check.... i won't say i made an obscene amount of money but it sure was indecent. thankfully i have a 4 day week end for labor day to make up on some sleep.

received a card from the ex-girlfriend today hoping i'm doing ok and wanting me to write back. it made me smile.
