wendy loves animals, and is way too excited.

in other news, my 4 exams are over! only 3 (only?) final papers to write and get in within the next two weeks and grad school is officially half way over. i have to say that nothing has ever made me feel more accomplished than attending grad school in a foreign language. it is such a struggle! making it through is really fulfilling. i can't wait to finish.. hopefully this time i'll take my degree and run for the hills, instead of getting more crazy ideas to further my education!
1. gluten free week #2. recent celiac diagnosis was not the most fun news i've ever received but it has forced me to have a new outlook on food, what it means and what it does for me. lots of fruits and veggies as i learn ingredients and rummage through/throw out most of my kitchen. recipes, blogs, resources, etc would be greatly appreciated!
2. i actually already do have an amazing resource: my brother is a leading expert on celiac and gluten-free food. he has two businesses. tell your friends! they are both incredible resources.

3. i am starting a project that is going to take up a lot of time and energy and hopefully turn into a book. it will involve a notebook traveling to many different lands, reaching many different hands and being filled with information from all different kinds of people. more details later.
4. my favorite guilty pleasure, gossip girl, is ending this week. i'm very, very sad. recommendations for new tv shows (mainly those that i won't have to catch up 6 seasons of) are greatly appreciated!
5. my MSW internship involves a lot of play therapy, ages 3-7. i would love any ideas parents/therapists/teachers/big brothers and sisters/babysitters could give to me! i am running out of things to do with them. i really like activities that are art-related. creating, making, drawing, painting, clay, etc. bring on the ideas!
i hope everyone is staying warm. if it's too cold for you, you can always join me in Israel.

Hey guys --
I realize this group is not the most active group, hopefully you'll see this message and someone will be able to help me out!
For a final paper I'm doing in one of my courses this semester (MSW) I have to interview a social worker about a successful therapeutic intervention. This can be done through email and will be fairly short. I have to set it all up and write out questions but that can be done within the week or so. I swear it won't take long!
Please let me know if any of you are interested, what your position is and of course if you have a specific story in mind. There aren't a lot of boundaries to what it needs to be, just a successful therapeutic intervention in your own opinion.
Thank you in advance!!
