Gig was good fun. Brickshithouse are my new favourite band. Going to Cage afterwards was a bad idea, and I paid for it with a full-blown bastard behind the eyes on Sunday.
My poor laptop's dying around me. Hopefully there's enough spit and ballwire holding it together until Friday when I take delivery of my shiney new Desktop PC.
Had an ok week off, despite spending more time than I'dve liked fixing PC problems. Ah well.
Kaddish gig tonight, might get drunk and go along. Or Go along *then* get drunk.

Today I start a week off. Yay!
Off to see Eric Clapton on Monday with Dad, following it up with a trip south to see Mother on Tuesday. Some bollocks about the 29th anniversary of my birth...
Then Wed-Friday is mine to do with as I please. I suspect I shall be playing computer games in my underwear for the most part. Tell me that doesn't excite you all!
And if Guss has managed to book it, Ix should be laying down roughs for the new recording next weekend...

Just back from the Sourvein/Ramesees gig. All the bands rocked except us. We kinda sucked beyond the telling of it.
Ah well, better luck next time...

Well, another week reaches its halfway point and I have absolutely nothing of interest to report. Finally booked recording time for Ix's next opus, so we're hitting the studio in June/July to bring the Doom!
Speaking of Ix:

Really looking forward to playing this, but pretty nervous as well. We don't often get to play Doom/Sludge gigs, so this should be amazing!

DJing didn't go to badly, but I was dog tired and just not in the mood for it. Couldn't even get drunk properly.
In my spare time, not been doing much except playing the old Wow until my eyes bleed. My Raidgroup now has Onxyia and Molten Core down to farm status, and last night we took down Vaelastrasz The Corrupt, the second boss in Blackwing Lair! [/geek]
Almost the weekend and this will be a quiet one. Gaming, a bit of strumming and preparing my flat for visiting Ixians next Friday.

Well it seems that my old Club in Edinburgh is having an impromtu reunion tonight, so I'm putting my DJ hat back on for a night and playing a selection of hard-rocking and heavyfuckingmetal tunes.
Details for folks interested are:
Impromptu K2 Reunion
Friday the 14th of April
Studio 24
11pm-3am
Free Entry.
DJs: Wally, Iqy, Leaf, Liz
Music: Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom, Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Rock, (some) Goth.
After that, I'm spending Tomorrow in Glasgow jamming with Ix, finishing off the new tracks in preparation for recording sometime next month. Also preparing a selection of synchronised moves for the Sourvien/Ramesees show in a fortnight,
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Haven't been around much recently, lotta boobs to catch up on.
Last gig was pretty awesome, the first new song is shaping up to be something of an epic, replete with a harmony guitar section at the end.
Speaking of new songs, we wrote another one at practice yesterday. It's somewhat simpler, relying on us beating two chords within an inch of their life for 20 or so minutes. Plus some Black Metal. This new recording's gonna slay!
Finally, I really should pimp this upcoming gig, because I'm really chuffed with it:

Ramesses - "early 70's rock with cataclysmic earth moving drone!!!" from ex-electric wizard members
Sourvein - heavy doom from the US
eye - instrumental eclipse of all and everything (i love lamp)
Bossk - huge rock-outs from Kent
Ix - crushing bottom end doom from Edinburgh
@ Westport Bar, Friday 28th April
door times tbc £5.
Cannot fooking wait!
