This song has been ruling my life at the moment. Shame the rest of the album's not as good. Why do bands keep doing that to me?!

Two updates in the same month? This blog's becoming dangerously close to active again.

In response to my last blog, I'd been seeing an ex of mine from Edinburgh for about 2-3 months. Things between us had been unstable when we dated five years ago, but I figured the passing of years might have changed that. Appears not.

Ah well, on the one hand I've lost sex, and someone who occasionally appeared to give a damn. On the other hand, I don't have to make the Dundee to Edinburgh commute just to see her and I don't have to put up with her mood swings. Or my own for that matter.

It's remarkable how cavalier the aging process makes you. Or perhaps it was distance. If we'd lived closer, I might have felt her loss more keenly. Then again, if we'd lived closer, we might not have had the problems we had.

Now entering Dumpsville, population: Me.

Ah well, it was fun whilst it lasted.

Bleh, 32 tomorrow. Packed my bag for a trip to the frozen north after work today.

I appear to be living in Interesting Times.

Too much stress and weirdness at once.
