It's th last day of Mardi Gras, probably not noticed much over there, but Lent begins tomorrow, though I'm even more sure that you don't notice that either, lol.
Mardi Gras is great fun down here on the Gulf, its of course the most fun in New Orleans which I'm sure that everyoe knows is the American Capital City of Mardi Gras.
People party in the streets wearing outrgious outfits,purple,green &gold, masks, lots of drunkeness, dancing and boob flashing, what's not to love?

I think it was last week, I noticed the sliver of new moon, attended by two planets. I assume planets, they were bigger and brighter than any stars I can see here in Milwaukee. Which planets, I dunno. But, it was a cool sight to see.
