I am feeling better each day. Today my throat feels like I'm sick. It's an upgrade from feeling like I've been eating razors blades for two weeks. I tried somewhat solid food today. I went to a Thai restaurant and ate lemongrass and vegetable soup. It was a fun experience. In the booth behind me a little girl kept referring to the restaurant as "Taste of Thighland" instead of Taste of Thailland. I laughed everytime. Tomorrow I began a long work week. I have a few meetings with Chanel. I am loving my promotion but hating the long hours that I have to work. Hopefully this will end after January. xoxo!
I am still having a lot of trouble with my tonsilictomy incision site. I am still experiencing lots of pain and bleeding. I spent most of today in the emergency room at St. Vincent's Hospital due to bleeding and vomitting. It wasn't fun but I had my father with me to crack jokes and keep me company. Hopefully this will pass very soon.
Adult tonsillictomies suck! I had the procedure done this past Monday. I am still bleeding and vomitting. I puked on myself in my car this morning. Luckily a couple of my coworkers helped me clean myself up after arriving at work with puke stained clothing on. Hopefully tomorrow will better.
Life is still really busy. I've spent most of my time working or working out. Feeling good about life
Life is still really busy. I've been working a lot, working out a lot and dating a little. I went out with a man last night that has great children. He is so sweet. My plan is to take things slow.
I have been really busy. Working a lot. Also looking for a part time job. Working two jobs will be tiring but hopefully worth it. Other than working I have been working on my flirting skills. I am horrible at it! I don't always know how to attract people or start a conversation so this is really tough for me. Yesterday I flirted with a cute teenage boy through the drive thru window at Backyard Burgers. It went ok but I felt really silly. After that encounter I tried flirting with a girl at Starbucks. That pretty much bombed. Oh well. Lessons learned. I am hoping it will go better next time.
I had a biopsy on Tuesday. There was a lump in my breast and lymph node in my armpit. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm a little sore and swollen but doing good. Other than that I have been obsessing over taking a language course. I have been told that I need to speak French in order to move up in the rank at Chanel. I'm hoping to start lessons within the month.
I need a massage.
