Well,just went to Notts today for the day and ended up running late but that gave me some time to exchange the bashed up make up and I nearly didn't get it but luckily Harriet just let me exchange them as they're not supposed to do that on hygiene reasons but they were sealed beforehand and I had bought them sealed...I think there's a little lesson in there...check next time that there's no sign of powder coming out under the seal as I hadn't...hmm...Will remember that...

Got a later bus and used my bratz CD walkman on the way which seems to be just as temperamental as the other one...but I got it to work and had that Nikki and Rowland album on which I enjoyed
Got there and had a good look around and nothing in the charity shop but found lots of lovely make up in the sales and was sure to check this time too they were ok....while looking in one store before I went back a second time,a little girl looked at me and stared and her mum said "look at the pretty lady with her make up on" and the girl gave me such a,lovely big smile.....awww...warmed my heart
Anyways went from there and looked in a store we have a gift card for and I tried a velvet jacket in the teen boys section but neither of the 2 sizes fitted me...when in the girls section the smaller one would...and there was no shoes either I coulda got
Back to square one then with that
Looked at a few other shops but nothing much and did see those red tights that were too much before and some leopard print ones too both in the sales but was in a hurry at the time...dashed back to one of the stores before they shut for a make up set I had seen before and later on got the bus back and it was early for once...
Had the rest of that CD on on the way and also a little Birthday Party and the,Shotgun Wedding album too
Got off and the guy that always goes round asking for change while we're waiting was on the bus and I was just thinking he might do his old trick again when he got off and yep he did
Stopped off for a few groceries on the way home and as we were coming into the shopping park I glanced at the sign and saw the shop names on them and also that there's a KFC in the food court...duh!
Of course there is...I knew that and no wonder when Alex googled it on his phone it said there was one not far away.....I forgot as we never tend to go in the food court and the last time was with Jami year's ago to go to Costa's.....I knew,all along and feel rather foolish now....
Nipped across to the local branch of the store that had the tights and they had both and the red ones were cheaper so I got both and then we got some food shopping done and still haven't found anything in the branch near us for the gift card.....ah well...went home and a friend had left a message but couldn't understand it except that it was long and it was so quiet....understood bits of it at least..did tidy up a little and it was a good day today further most part

Well, it's been a while since I blogged so I have a lot to share

I will start with last Thursday night....

Thursday night....
Had a quiet night and it went ok and I'm thankful to Promila for helping me out and had a good chat with both Helen and Claire and had my pampering night which was nice and had a nice evening at least and it wasn't too bad and enjoyed my bubble bath as well too

Friday
Was up a bit later today and it left me running late since I needed to get to the PC Clinic and after missing the turning we got there eventually and I dashed in with it and the data recovery would be done by Monday so I would pick it up then and they would copy it all to the CDs I had brought in and it was not too expensive so that was ok too and at least it would be some peace of mind just in case it does get wiped by the warranty people...
Went to town later and got a lovely Peplum dress in the sales as well as some nice make up that I had seen before my trip away and had been considering and lucky that I didn't get it then...also passed by the shopping park on the way home and got a black peplum mini skirt almost identical to the Jennyfer one I saw in France and in the sale too so that was cool as well...passed by the supermarket on the way home as well too but didn't get home until late so had a quiet evening as well too
Had been wearing my new black peplum skirt but with a leopard print top since the pink.jumper was too low necked to wear so I had to replace it with something less revealing but later that day a friend suggested a vest might be a good idea since its too new and nice to give away so I would wear with that way with a black pencil skirt later in the week
Saturday
Went into town again but just got some make up and an Hk hairbrush and calendar in the sales and that was
all really..looked at one of the local stores again which we have a gift card for but I didn't see anything I wanted...got home a little earlier and started a huge tidy up of of my room to rearrange storage and make things neater and got it half done at least...and it did look better too so it was an ok day and night all in all even if it meant that the other room became more messy as a result....hehe..had a quiet night too

Sunday
Got up later and a friend came over so I didn't get as much done and only just did the other half of my room and some writings too and that was all really...but at least I got it completed and had felt like I had achieved something that day and put on my new scented nail varnish I had got the day before and it was a nice cherry red colour or at least a coral red anyways...thought I might as well... So not too bad a day

Monday
Had to be up early since it was New Year's Eve and I needed to go to town and pick.up my laptop on the way and everything shuts early too...So....went to get it but they had not done with the CDs yet as they had copied it all.to their system and were just putting it on them for me so I just took the laptop and would.pay when collecting the CDs on Thursday instead....went to town and just got some more make up in the sales and had a look.round but nothing much else...wanted to get a new handbag but there was none there that I liked...or any tops for the blue denim or peplum skirt but they're hopefully for France so no hurry on that score
Also got the new Classic Pop magazine and some HK stickers half price too
Got a big set of eyeshadows that were half price and so pretty too and was glad I got those and the other gold.ones as two of the other sets I got I later found out were broken so I need to return them tomorrow..also.passed by the supermarket on the way home to get some odds and ends and went home and tidied the other room and then spoke to Alex later and then he called me just before midnight so we could say happy new year to each other and it changed as we were on the phone...he cut the call short as his sky lantern had set alight but luckily no damage done...was just listening to Breathless and drinking diet cherry coke and watching the pathetic lack of fireworks here whereas there were lots near him
He tried to call back but couldn't get through and just chatted a bit online before he went to bed and I just listened to.music before bed too...caught the performance by The Cure on the tv for the all.night party and at first thought it sounded like some indie band's awful cover of one of their songs...
Originally arranged for Alex to pick me up and we'd go for lunch the next day but his aunt invited him to hers instead so he would pick me up and we would go to a pub in the evening instead...since his aunt and uncle don't live that far from me...So that was a plan too...not a bad day all in all

Tuesday
Happy New Year's Day all and Happy New Year too
Woke up and put on the New Year's Day concert from Vienna on but dozed off halfway through...got up later and a friend was downstairs and had a brunch with them before doing my hair and make up ready for Alex coming at around 5 and he later on came at 5:30 and had my kindle playing jacobites while waiting then he called.me.as he was near so I waited outside and when he came he parked across the road and we went to a pub in the next village for a couple of hours and we had a good hug and cuddle so much that he got my gold glitter on his face..hehe...was so cosy in the back room in there just chatting and hugging and we were very comfy...went to get petrol from there and then went looking for a KFC for him but there wasn't' one so we just went back to the the road near mine for some cuddling in the car and the odd kiss...before he dropped me off and went on to visit his uncle....So it was nice and I gave him his Christmas present but mine has arrived but he didn't have it with him but he had got me a Hello Kitty air freshener for our car...also gave him that Glasvegas CD too as its too indie for me..
Came home and just tidied up and listened to music and that was it really so a good day all.in.all

Well, not all that much to be honest,since I only blogged last night....didn't get to chat to Alex as his WiFi was down and I wasn't too bothered as I didn't want to chat much anyways so I just had the chance to catch up on some writing instead...at least while my laptop is broken I have the chance to catch up on some things I may not otherwise have got done....also checked out some websites of clothing shops I frequent but nothing much so I hope the selection is better instore anyways...but I just had a very quiet night and have slept well and had an almost very erotic dream but a beautiful one that involved me buying 3 pairs of the most outrageous shoes including thigh high Dr Martens in black shiny plastic fabric with a heel on them and staying in a lovely hotel/resort place and being in room 25 with it's mirrored ceiling and an older man who I won't name although most of you wouldn't know who he is and it is someone moderately famous but I won't say but wow what a weird dream
Anyways, I need to call the Pc Clinic later and see what they say and I hope that it is hardware so I can claim on the warranty as I don't think it will be cheap to fix...but I do miss my little laptop as it is looking like something's missing in my room So I just hope it can get sorted and so I will need to see what they say.
I'm writing this now as it's hopefully pampering night tonight anyways so I hope all of you have a good day today and have fun whatever you're doing...

Well,it's not been the best of days since yesterday...just before midnight my laptop broke..it had been flickering badly earlier in the day and was ok when I shut it down but later in the evening when I got back on it it did it twice and I almost thought that I would lose my blog as it did it badly with lines on the screen again so I saved the writing to notepad but it was ok and then did it briefly so l was able to complete the blog and it flickered again and was ok and then just before midnight it flickered and went off completely...switching it back on only had the first page come up and then go black...I'm hoping it's just the screen as its been on a warranty for years since I bought it so it won' t cost me to get it fixed but of all the times...for obvious reasons the earliest I can contact the pc repairs place is Thursday or Friday...how ironic that my phone accidentally dialled that number last Thursday while in my bag and a week later I will need to call them.for real...
So I'm currently writing this from my mum's kindle...and lucky she has it as I can do almost everything on it apart from share things on Facebook...So it's a useful backup..I only hope it won' t cost me to get it fixed and everything can be saved from it if necessary which I hope it will just be the screen so it won't come to that...just after it broke my cousin called to wish us a merry Christmas and he got the whole story...
I texted Alex about what had happened and he called me and went through a load of possible reasons for it but despite trying everything in case it was just a glitch, nothing worked..still was going black within seconds of switching it on..he' s had computer training but not in laptop's...So it now sits back in its case downstairs waiting to be seen to and sitting on its table is a CD player in its place as my hifi only has the record deck working on it...
it does feel like something is missing here...I've had it since June 2007 and my old one before which cost 3 Times more lasted less...I just hope my data is safe and it is just the screen...of all the times though...

As for today it's been ok but quiet..was up early then went back to sleep and got up late,then had to be somewhere later and at least I saw zara and Helen and it was an ok evening at least and quiet and very calm...back now and just done my hair and washed my hair and gonna get Alex to call me later and have had the chance to still listen to stuff on YouTube today and reply to you all on here...might just do some writing tonight and the poems will return maybe after the new year...not had time to write any lately and they will be back once I get the laptop fixed as I need to put images with them which will be hard as I can only have so many tabs open on here unlike on my laptop but they will return and that I promise...

Not much else to say but didn't get anything much today but then I have had my presents already and I'm not that bothered anyways....So will go back to my Nikki Sudden and Jacobites clips and wait for Alex to call and just write or chill or do something at least creative in some sense for the time being and perhaps finally get those pictures into my diary...So..that's all for now so I will leave you all with the usual picture and music share and I hope you all had a good Christmas and had fun..wherever you are and got all you wished for..So...Joyeux Noel/Maligayang Pasko/Merry Christmas xxxxx
