New York made me happy and FULL. I set out to eat my way through the city and certainly did. My favorite slice of pizza was obviously Two Boots. Glad to know that NY's Two Boots is only slightly better than the one we now have in LA.

The bagels were a real disappointment, though. Only the one that the Bageller brought me was amazing, the others were dry -what's up NY? I thought you were bagel city! Maybe I just prefer LA's "Ny style" bagel joints. Brooklyn Bagel in LA you win my heart.

Favorite restaurant was easily Con Vivio -went back a second time and had an amazing experience both times (the meal became an experience since the server was so knowledgable about food and wine. I was in heaven). Second place deserves a mention, though as Artisinal had the most amazing fish dish I've ever had (and I eat a lot of fish). Sauteed Skate with a delicious Blood Orange sauce that was citrucy enough without being too sweet. Yum.

And of course I started off my trip by meeting a bunch of lovely, awesome SuicideGirls. Suri, Machete, Skyler, Seachelles, Auriga, Kiley, Fabrizia, July, Epiic, Porphyria I'm so glad to have met you all!

When Suicide Girls come to visit HQ, not only do we get to meet or see again another beautiful face but often times, they bring us tasty treats.

Sysca brought us Macarons from Laduree -where they all began- Bob will be bringing Vegan cheese and non-alcoholic wine to teach us how SHE does Wine and Cheese tasting and Cherry's brought us some delicious Maple cream biscuits (cookies to those of us in the US).

As I sit and enjoy a cup of tea and Maple biscuit I wonder who will visit us next love

Yummmmm

Two conventions in two weeks, I'm a lucky lady -got to meet some super cool SG's, saw Mickey Dolenz! (the Monkees) and made it home from the last convention with the Fonz (well, his head anyway).

The only downside is the nerds at the last convention seem to have given me some sort of uber-germs. I don't get sick and they got me sick. How did they do it and when will it stop?

I want my energy back.

and some more S'muffins.

Tattoos are great...when they're well thought out.

If you don't think ahead and do something you later want to get undone, you'll endure a lot of pain.

Don't look at this if you don't like watching shows like CSI:NY.

I don't know why so many women in my life hate Bell Peppers, but for a while I think I started giving in to peer pressure and wasn't eating them so much. I'm still not a huge fan when they're cooked, especially over cooked.

What I've really missed is the Red Bell pepper and Hummus combo.

There are just some foods that taste SOOO good together, like they're made for each other.
Some others:

Wine and cheese, of course.
Peanut Butter and honey -yuuuummm!
Salt and Vinegar
Tomato and Basil
Pizza and Salad
And of course: Champagne and Strawberries!

I wonder what other food combos I haven't discovered yet?

Sash is so wonderful, she made a pit stop to get my ridiculously overpriced cookies for me.

They are flown in all the way from England, so they're not really over priced.

Yummy, chocolate McVities!

Let's hope I don't drop any in my tea today.

I finally watched a Water Polo game -Sunday night, US beat Germany which put them straight into the semi-finals (go US!). This was not the most interesting thing to me. What really struck me was how such a violent sport, where men are being thrown into the penalty box every 10 minutes without even a pause to the game can have such a girly uniform.

Now, I understand the speedos, obviously they need those in order to swim faster, but how on Earth do you feel manly wearing essentially a tight bonnet with ear protectors on your head?

I found some pictures on the lovely World Wide Web to demonstrate my point.

Here's a very many looking Spaniard from a few years back, hairy chest and all, waiving his flag in a victorious shout for joy. For God's sake, man, take that thing off your head! You're out of the water! Don't you know there are camera's snapping photos of you? How do you expect to look manly in a speedo with a bow tied underneath your chin?

\
This man's in the water, and clearly needs his ear protectors to cover his ears from the fast flying balls (and I mean the water polo balls of course) but does anyone else think he looks more like he should be on Broadway than in a swimming pool playing an athletic and quite violent sport?

and my favorite:

These guys were just asking for it. Not only is that ridiculous bow so big it makes me want to yank it right from his neck, the guy on the left had to make matters worse by grabbing his breast! Get a room ladies!

So that's what I learned this week about Water Polo, fun sport, funny hats.
(oh, and anyone who played it at USC is all right in my books -especially if his initials are MDS smile )

Every time I go to a city and meet SG's there I think "Wow -fill in the City- has some amazing SuicideGirls, I'm so lucky to have met them."

Seattle is no different.
Working a weekend can suck sometimes but when you're doing it with such wonderful people, it doesn't feel like work at all.

If anyone was lucky enough to be at the Emerald City Comic-con this past weekend and chat with the lovely ladies there, they know what I'm talking about.

Awsome apples of my eyes:
Sedora
Madeleine
Doxie
Silencia
Lyxzen
Skully
marigold
charm
blyss
kara
amelinda

p.s. It is NOT ok to know your daughter's exact height, weight and bust size.
