Yeah, that film is amazing. Apparently being released in the US now...but only in NY.

I've had about 11-12 training sessions, and a lot of it is getting my body back into weightlifting mode as opposed to the physique I was getting while boxing.

I train with another guy who is more of a bodybuilder, but he knows what I'm going for, so with him helping I'm going in the right direction--- Which is to look like Magnus Samuelsson and compete in amateur Strongman and Highland games.

We are going heavy on the back at the moment, as I think my chest and shoulders are a bit overloaded and I need to get my back more caught up to speed.

It's a blast though. I FINALLY got to use kettlebells, and as much as they kill you, I love them and they are as fun as I thought they'd be.

Still quite a ways to go, the gym I go to has a different style of training really, they wear you down with a lot smaller weights, even if you are a guy who can lift a significant amount of weights. It's interesting to say the least and I'm definitely enjoying it.

Now I just need to keep cutting because at 290 I think I'll be a lot closer to my goal.

I know in some Strongman events they do the one handed kettlebell lift. If I ever get that far I'll probably have to order my own, as my gym doesn't have any that would exceed I think maybe 80 pounds?

Amazing how they hit so many different muscles than regular free weights though. The first time I did them the next day I woke up and I had pain where I didn't know I could have pain.

Dude, I just flipped my first tires today.

It was only a 550 pound one, but it was fucking GLORIOUS. Flipped it for about 100 yards or so on rough pavement. My hands are scraped, I was dirty as hell, but it was one of the best workouts I've ever had in my entire life.

I train at one gym, and they have an owner that operates another that has more Strongman toys -- a bigger tire, I think usually what you guys do 750-800 pounder, the sledgehammer on the tire bit, a couple sleds and things of that nature.

So I am working my way up, and I'll get to go play with all of that stuff.

When you are doing amateur competitions you guys flip the 800 pound tires right? or does it depend if you are in the Heavyweight or Super Heavyweight class?
