Best excuss offered for forgetting my birthday.

He thought it was on st georges day as with my taste for the finer things in life (?), rather bbc accent he mixed it up with the national day of an old english nobleman.... although if i remember correctly George was turkish.....

I have a special alarm clock.

It doesn't wake me up with a bleep but slowly with the light on top slowly getting brighter and soft birdsong slowly getting louder.

This means i wake up over a few minutes without the heart attack my old alarm clocks caused.

Sounds good?

Well now outside my window the real dawn chrous is starting at about 04:30.

Sounds a bit annoying?

Well the real problem is that due to my alarm clock I'm now conditioned to wake up at the sound of birdsong.

Where are those sods with their air-rifles when you need them!

Wow. I've found what i want to do.

I'm one of those people who knows what they want to do, who I use to envy.

Yay me.

Its been so hot the last few days that I've not bothered wearing shoes. Walking around the city centre in bare feet gets you some odd looks, maybe it was because I was also in a suit as well. It was a bit strange to get home and have to peel tar and glass off the soles of your feet. I guess i'm just a big dirty hippy at heart.

May be I should mention this to the therapist I'm going to interview today, see if we can work together on rebuilding my personality over the next 4 years.

Went to see Mirror mask today...Interesting, it looks great and the young girl who is the lead is very good.

The new website that I'm obsessing over is postsecrets some of the pain that is behind the cards just can't help but seep out.

I really really hate moving.

All the hassle not only over moving boxes but getting all the other things, like internet connection, moved and sorted.

it really is a piss take at times.

Also my roof is leaking.

A friend of a friend was taking his girlfriend to Turkey for easter, they broke up now my mate and me are off to turkey, 7 nights in a 5 star hotel on the med, all inclusive, flights food, everything for £330.

Actually I could do with saying here to shout at people about houses. My rental contract ends on this place at the start of May but my house still hasn't gone through. Its going to be very tight.

I'm being taunted. Air Canada keeps sending me stuff through the post, how cheap it'd be to get there etc. I could afford to go but I don't have the holidays left. Next year with courses I'm hopefully going to be doing I'll have 10 days holiday…of course if I want a couple of days off at Christmas that means 7 days (I'll have to use my holidays for the course). That sucks.

I've been looking at prices for re-decorating the new house (the porn set clashing with explosion in a paint factory just isn't me). Can't afford carpet so it looks like I'll be exerting my masculinity and trying the whole sanding floors down bit. Of course what I really need to do is actually buy the house first, get the keys in my hand then worry about decorating.

I'm starting to get a bit excited about the whole house thing but I'm also getting the feeling of the chains rattling, to tie me down, now and forever. I don't think that I'll ever feel free again.
