I'm so bad a new years resolutions. Anyone else with me on this?

So this year I decided to take stuff up! I said to myself: get fit and learn a language.

Phase one of fitness is in effect. I started Rusian Kettlebells tonight, outdoor and far better than any gym! In a way I'm buzzing from it. Working on phase 2 tomorrow!

Just don't ask me to give up: beer, nice food and SG!

Elbow just seem to get better and better!


I can't wait to go and see them in March!

I've been told twice by independent sources I look like King Henry VIII with my new beardage!

I'm on Christmas holidays now! I have some reading to catch up on but it's all good.

I've just realised in my absence from SG land I've been removed from some of my favourite groups. This really makes me want to cry!

So I will go and wallow in the most beautiful voice I have heard live in a long time. I had the pleasure of seeing him in a 650+year old church supporting Low. Wonderful gig.

In other news I'm selling my guitars and basses. Since my band split they've just been gathering dust. I'll probably keep one of my Rickenbackers and my acoustic - it's a sad time though. So to make myself feel better I may pu the money towards one of these:
