Well....I didn't go out in the end! My friends (mainly the boys in the band) were all watching the football (Arsenal vs Villareal)

I have music to keep me sweet tomorrow and Friday so roll on....

*Must get my camera back as I need to take a picture of what I believe to be the best sweet (candy) in the world!

There is a new venue in town (by the canal basin) and I'm in two minds about checking it out. The Akron Family are playing there and hey...live music is music. But I have to be up tomorrow (on a day off) to go se a sports Doc at about 9am....Hmmm

Woo, I loaded some new pictures up, they're not great as my Digicam is round my friends and I can't go grab it yet but hey ho!

It dawned on me while I was in bed that I have some coolaboshio gigs to look forward to in the next couple of weeks.

My band are playing on Friday and we're playing with a band I'm really liking at the moment that are on myspace, they have a really trippy, pschyed out, shoeaze sound goin' on. They're called MB101.

Then on the 23/4 I am going to see Buena Vista Social Club. I can't wait. Just a shame it's the day before I go back to work after a 2 week break

But to cheer me up on the 26/4 I am going to see Primal Scream. Really looking forward to hearing what Bobby Gillespie has called a stripped down, return to rockin' songs sound.

I guess if things get bad I can always lurk on SG :p

Someone told me SG was addictive and I wonder where my day went! I had plans of playing more bass after band rehearsal, going out and maybe watching The Libertine...oh well, I'm sure they can wait.

Like many before me I am taking SG in and exploring. It must be like when Captain Cook landed on far flung foreign shores...or not, I'm not sure what the state of dress and tattoos/piercings was like in NSW in 1770!
