Economic crisis, what economic crisis. I have a job, three job offers, I'm resigning tomorrow and I'll take one of the others. Not sure which yet...

But I think I'll take the one where I get free food, an on-site swimming pool, tennis court and soccer pitches!

Wish me luck, I suck at being horrid and handing my notice in in only my third month in the job is horrid, but needs to be done - for my sanity if nothing else!

I wish there was a super speedy photo uploader here. Then I could show you all the amazing places I've been to this year...alas there isn't and I am so lazy!

I should be writing or researching or doing something productive seeing as I've off work (I've lost my voice and have been told not to speak - being a mute is quite fun, however, when ordering in a shop I sound like The Godfather!)

So, who has been watching the Euros? Now Ireland are out I'm behind Italy! It's all anyone I know here is talking about. Even old women in Italy seem to love football!

I want to write on here more, I want to look on here more. I mean, the girls are still as great as ever, there are some cool people I'd like to get to know better but that's the thing...there are fewer and fewer people seemingly contributing.

I think SG needs a lot of new ideas and input or it will go the way of Myspace!

Wow. I really need to get back into this. However, I've been so busy. I feel a photo dump coming on. But for now, a track from the album that has consumed me since I got it the other week. Everyone should grab a copy. Plus - this video is pretty fucking insane!

So I went to Verona at the weekend and thought I'd dump some photos for you.

It's a great city. Much smaller than Milan but everything is quite central and you can easily get around on foot. I got some great bargains - it's got some excellent shops! But my favourite thing was just wandering around the city (and stopping off for some vino - they're serious about it in this city!)

I was lucky that Arena was about 200 ft from the front door, I went out to see it first thing in the morning when it was deserted and went for walk around as they were setting up a stage inside it.

It's not very often you have a boss that is uber kind to you...but I have one. I called yesterday to say I think I should return to work (after being off with chicken pox) but she said to stay off till Monday, even though they're missing me and are struggling she said she wanted me to make sure I was fighting fit and raring to go (aww) she even said (for the umpteenth time) that she's pray for me Bless!

So this is me getting better...perving on you
