I am probably more qualified than most to answer that actually . I studied animal behavior at college lol. I have definitely seen in films cats eating there owners though I have never read either in books. So cats maybe but not dogs. Dogs generally wouldnt eat there owner unless its a matter of life and death. Its not in there nature. Cats on the other hand would start gnawing on you if you fall into a coma.
