First full day back at work and foot seemed fine. Hurt for about a minute when I started going at the job site, but then felt fine the rest of the day. Guess I just over-did it on the stairs at the water park. Luckily, I had 3 vacation days left, so I actually have a paycheck. 
But now I have no vacation days until April. 
I start a commercial pool on Monday, so I know I'll have work for at least the next week.

Foot: After 6 calls to the doctor to get the results, no broken bones or anomalies. I'm gonna keep off it except for trips to the kitchen and potty, and go back to some semi-light duty tomorrow. They said if it keeps hurting, they'll send me to a specialist.
Storm: No big deal, not going to be tropical, center is well over land now.
Actually, it was perfect timing. I would have had to go home today because of rain anyway, and I had a couple vacation days left, so they're going to put them on this check. So I'll be back to work tomorrow.

Wow, could this day get shittier? Being that I work outside, and I'm a total geek, I'm kind of a weather junkie. I've been watching the radar all day. It sure looked like there was some circulation. Sure enough, I just checked the tropical forecast, and there is now a low spinning in the Gulf of Mexico directly off the coast where I live. So far it's sub-tropical, but it 's over really warm water, and I don't see any shearing winds. So now I may also have to pack up the family and send them out of state if something develops. I get to hang out and take care of all the critters. We usually go to my aunts house near Atlanta if something brews up her. Unfortunately, she is in Chicago with my daughter and my parents for the next week, so I got nowhere to send them.
And my foot still hurts.

My foot is seriously fucked up. I'm going to the doctor as soon as they open. I couldn't walk 10 steps without stopping. This could be disaster if it's broken. If I can't work, I'll loose my health insurance, and I also have a family to feed. I haven't been worried about much lately, but now I'm scared shitless.

Went to the doctor this morning. They opened at 8:30. I had no appointment. I was seen by the nurse practitioner, sent right next door for x-rays and was done by 9:30. My doctors office is the shiznit!!
Waiting for test results. Could be a stress fracture, bone spur or some calcification. I won't know for sure until they call me later today with the x-ray results.

Called them at 2:30, they said they'd give the doctor my message.
Called them at 4:45, they were closed.
Won't be going in to work tomorrow, foot still hurts, still don't know why.
