So I thought I'd put up another post. I haven't done that here for about four years. plus give people something more interesting to comment on than my sily drink recipe that I made up from the dregs of my mother's liquor cabinet.

So here's a little life assessment. That's what these bloggy things are for right?

It's been eight months since the lady I thought i was gonna marry left me and we remain on friendly terms. I've managed to keep my head above water financially just barely. I've had a few lungfuls of water and it's not comforting. I've been about a month behind on a lot of bills since this summer when she stiffed me on rent, but I'm not going to fight that point with her as I know she's struggling financially as well. I can get some financiall support from my mother and her family is much less willing to lend a dollar. I have a roommate now as an additional income which is the only means I've had to stay afloat. I think a second roommate would put me back at comfortable again.

Romantically It's been hit or miss. I got off to a great rebound or two but as the winter set in opportunities have dried up. In some cases due to my own indifference. Hopefully as the weather warms so will women's hearts toward me.

All in all Life's been worse. I still have a house. that's something to show for the last four years.
