I went to the movies tonight but before the movie started I had to take a piss. So I'm standing there doing my thing and this guy walks up to the urinal beside me. Whips his shit out and starts going to town, then while he's standing there pissing he crosses his arms over his chest like saying, "look mom no hands!" Thats ok, he's the one that left with piss down the front of his khakis
I Feel Like Such A Consumer Whore.......
Have you ever been sitting and watching tv and some commercial comes on for some product that you have absolutely no need for but all of a sudden you're like, "I've gotta fucking have it!" I had one of those experiences today with commercial but I have a feeling mine was a little bit more bizarre than most people's. I was watching some crappy show on USA and this commercial for some sorta of fancy paint came on and they announcer was going on about it say things such as, "This is no ordinary paint this paint is fucking gourmet shit, and you can tell that just by opening the lid, it looks like gourmet paint, it smells like it and it's even gooier than the other leading brands." And the whole time I was watching this commercial all I could think about was goddamn that paint looks delicious. I was never one of those kids that ate paste or glue in kindergarten but this pain seriously looked like some sweet and sour sauce you'd get a Chinese restaurant. So I was sitting there with my mouth watering over this paint that god knows I probably can't even afford, I guess it would was one of those things that you would have just had to have been there for. I guess if there was a lesson there is to be learned from all this that ....... well I guess there really is no point to this other than I saw some really tasty looking paint on tv.

Soylant Green is people......
Soylant Green is made of people, famous line towards the end of the famous sci-fi film Soylant Green. It raises some interesting social questions though, such as conformity, and the willingness to think for one's self. All throughout the film you have people devouring, consuming this miracle food called Soylant Green, they are told that soylant green is made from the plankton and shit from the sea but by that time almost all animal life had become extinct and the cities people lived in were overpopulated. So with animals hard to come by, what seems like the next logical food source in a city of 40million or more
And they keep eating it, and eating it never questioning where this miracle food came from. And that's kinda what we do I suppose. We look to other people to tell us what to be, never questioning if it's what we really want. And when we finally become the person that we were pressured into becoming we're cut down and harvested to make way for the new trend. We're the same way the way the way the mainstream media force feeds us what they want us to believe. The same could be said about the way the press absorbs every government press release and never questions right from wrong. I just find it ironic that in country where people speak so highly of and are so quick to claim the freedom of speech the evidence of it's existence are slim if any at all ^_^

I just saw Extract, the new film from Mike Judge. It's true it's no Office Space or Idiocracy but it's still insanely funny. Ben Affleck's role made the movie though. Also be sure to visit imdb.com and check out the video of Beavis and Butthead promoting thr film, i fuckin miss beavis and butthead.
American Dogma
Dogma: n. 1. A doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church.
2. An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially one considered to be absolutely true
3. A principle or belief or a group of them
I believe that somewhere along the line we lost sight of all the things we once held dear and all that we once valued as our own personal truths and convictions. Each and everyone likes to believe that we have life figured out, kinda like how we all like to make-believe we're all unique from the next person. And while that may be true in many senses we're exactly the same as the person in line next to us. I was listening to the radio today and the song Icky Thump by The White Stripes came on and in it there was this amazing statement about our culture and I'm not sure they meant for it to be as profound as it is when they were writing it, but it said "You can't be a pimp and a prostitute too." In a sense thats kinda what so many of us do we let people tell us what who and what we should be. What scene we should follow, what brands are ok to wear, and etc., and the whole time we're looking to someone else for instructions on how to pretend to be an individual we still like to make believe we're the one in charge. But I guess thats just human nature to whore out all originality in order to gain that coveted acceptance that we desire so badly. We like to dream of a tomorrow thats brighter and full of change, when our pasts are so shady. But we're never worried about where are we going and where are we now? Where are we going when we live in country where normal is beating your kids, fucking your kids, beating your spouse, and going to church every sunday and throwing your 2cents into the collection plate to buy salvation for another week? Where are we going when live in place where children are exploited for that next government stipend? Where are we going when the leaders we elect to speak for us are too focused with the lining of their pockets? But this is what we do isn't it day in and day out another attempt at appeasing the masochistic tendencies within. We flourish in self-destruction and seem to only be happy when we're knee deep in misery. And when it's all said and done we'll still be left here wondering how did we get here?

Always safe to know
What is good for taking
Blood stains from your clothes.
Like I said before,
When I bite your tongue
Out of your mouth, you'll know.
You'll know..
Just what am I supposed to say?
And tell you why I turned out this way?
If you love it, then let it go.
And how I died, you'll never know.
Just don't blame me. Don't hate me.
Nothing safe feels real.
Waiting here to die.
Just hoping I reveal,
There's something...
Picking up my brains.
You can tell your mom that
Men are all the same.
The same...
I love the imagery and metaphors used ^^

work seems to be all I ever do
the fact that I enjoy 2/3 of it is beside the point
I'm either working at the store, writing new music, or working on the film and buying new equipment
its just one vicious cycle
