I saw an awesome Mega Man themed band named Protomen last night. Whoa whoa whoa, stop right there. I know you're thinking that there is no way in 8 bit hell a Mega Man themed band could be any good aside from laugh factor, but these guys were fucking AWESOME. I can't really describe the music, so here's a little sample:



Apparently they do an awesome cover of The Trooper for their encore performance, but we were treated instead to a cover of Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone, which was surprisingly good. Here's a video of their version of The Trooper:



and yeah, the guy wears a Mega Man helmet for most of the show. Apparently these guys play at the Capcom booth at Comic Con every year too.


Regarding the cryptic Helter Skelter reference from the last journal, I started a job at a factory that supplies seats for Nissan cars. Most of the job involves putting the upholstery on the seats and attaching it with nasty staples that can destroy fingers, which is pretty rough on my girly hands. It's not a terrible job, but definitely not something I'd want to do for the rest of my life. Hopefully I can start college this fall and figure out something I really want to do. I'm thinking maybe pre-law or economics, but you guys know I change my mind every month on shit like this.
