Selling half of our corner desk today. Gonna look at a race car bed for Spencer tomorrow, then hooefully I can talk the Hubby into running to West Sac to go to Ikea! Then, maybe, I can build OUR new bed while he is at band practice on Saturday.
Getting a new roomie!
Nor Cal CJ, our very dear friend, desperately needed a place to stay, so starting next week, he's going to start over at our house. We all lived together before and it worked out pretty well until I was about to have a baby, and the tiny apartment we were in started to feel SUPER tiny. Now that we have the house, we couldn't think of a better person to stay in it with us.

Hubby's cousin is coming to stay with us for 3 nights with her baby.
I'm stressing out a little bit about it. I don't really get her. She's a bit younger than us, and she is a recovering drug addict. She lived with us for awhile when we first moved in together, and it was just bad news. Her boyfriend moved in without an ok from us, he ended up cutting a huge hole in the garage of the house we were renting, they both stole from us (this was when she was still on drugs), and they expected us to buy and prepare all their food for them.
I just can't get past all that. She has definitely changed. She's off the drugs, and I believe that, but I can't bring myself to fully trust her. Also, from the drugs, her mindset is like stuck at age 12, and she gets painfully annoying. I can enjoy stupid/gross humor, but with her, that's like all you get. Makes my brain wanna die.
Her daughter is almost 9 months old. That stresses me out too. We are toddler proofed in the house, but it's been awhile since a baby was around. And she doesn't watch her, and we have a dog, and 2 cats, and and and. *sigh*
I'll just be glad when she leaves. I know how horrible that sounds, but I can't help it.

Spencer's uncle, Omeganightmare, made Spencer's life this weekend. We went down the the fire house to visit him, and he let Spencer climb all over the fire trucks, sit in the driver's seats, push buttons, etc. Hehd the best time! I'll post pics soon
I love my job and all the people I work with!!

No? No really, I don't.
Ok the job itself, I do like, but most of my direct co-workers suck. It sounds like I'm being a baby, but they leave me out...a lot, talk behind everyone's backs, and really think they're better than everyone else and that they do all the work. Trust me, they do NOT do all the work. They seriously get mad at ME for doing what my boss tells me to do...a lot. Had to get that off my chest...moving right along...
I think Spencer is OCD. He HAS to shut all the doors if they're open, he HAS to turn off all the lights if they need it, he points out messes more than I do, he HATES to have anything on his hands, he would wash his hands and brush his teeth a million times a day if we let him. The other day at brunch with Mavenist and Omeganightmare our table was up against a wall with 2 light switches, and he wouldn't let it go that one of them was flipped on and the other one was off. He kept pointing and saying "OFF!?". Poor kid. This is my fault. I just hope this is the extent of it. Also I've realized lately he's been watching more and more t.v. It's not horrible, but needs to be less. I thought he would freak out if I cut it down, but we've been home since around 4, it's about 5:30, and we haven't had the t.v. on and he doesn't seem to notice. Win!
I'm going to a baby shower for my bestie on Saturday, still have to wrap her gift, and bake brownies and cookies...and I just remembered I forgot to buy her a card...nice. Looks like someone's stopping by the store on her way home from work tomorrow. OH well, we need milk anyway.
