I just finished a book called "Soul Survivor"; it was amazing. The book is a true story about a two year old boy who has nightmares of being shot down during WW Two. It gives really strong evidence of how this boy is living the past life of an American pilot killed on March 3rd of 1945. Whether you believe in reincarnation or not; it’s still very astonishing the information this kid tells his parents about ships, planes, battles and his friends that fought and died over 60 years ago. I couldn't help but get chill bumps reading it.

I just came home from hicking a trail for about three hours & my ass is tired; that was cool but it was rough! I need to exercise more!

I just watched fireworks from the US White Water Center in Charlotte from my own backyard; fucking awesome. No crowd, no long lines waiting to get out of packed parking lot. I hope all of you have a great 4th of July.

Damn, life is good! I'm now on the lunch service at the country club which leaves me plenty of time to have fun and do a few cakes on the side. Take a look at what I came home to; Anna and Major always sleep like this. They're the best of friends!

Well, I'm in the beginning of a 70 hour work week & that sucks. If anyone is thinking about getting into the culinary profession; you'd better re-think that. Working in a really busy kitichen isn't as cool as they make it out to be on the tv shows!

I've been working a new job for about three weeks and working my ass off! The kitchen is so hot and it's not even summer yet; so I can tell it's going to be one hell of a summer. I've never worked in a kitchen where we have a large party or buffet every night, including the line service. I've spent the last three years at a country club where we had maybe two or three busy days, not six! The money is good though!

I ate at the Penguin Drive In today in Charlotte NC; the Penguin is so good. It's run by people with tattoos & piercings and they were recently on Diner, Drive Ins, and Dives on Foodnetwork. Best fucking homemade corndogs ever; good bar too!!!

My Tarheels are looking damn good too!! I'm feeling a championship is just around the corner!

I've got a new job with more pay, great benefits & really talented chefs to work with. I'm really happy!
