Six years ago I became a member and for two years I did little more than just watch. One day I decided to start a new account and four years later here we are.
For a while I was InnocentSid and my profile was one of two pictures of Sid Vicious. It's funny how many people thought it was me. No, I don't look like Sid Vicious and no my name is not Sid. It was bizarre later when I met people from the site and they called me Sid.
There were some really awesome things about engaging in this community. I met some pretty cool people in person like janegeraldine, sitar, siamkittie, BigPoppa99 and many other. I broadened my horizons, particularly in music, and learned all sorts of useless info about lolcats and video games that I'll never play. I had great times on silliness and various groups.
On the other hand, this site has been very corrosive to me. I won't waste time with all the negative stuff. If you don't know what I'm talking about and you're curious just read back previous blogs.
All in all, I leave this site with many thanks. It was the avenue to meeting my beloved janegeraldine. Also, it connected me to Lil_Em one of my best friends in the world, despite having the Atlantic Ocean between us. Finally, it allowed me to get to know those of you that will read this. Each and every one of you that remains on my friends list I love, for the laughs, the advice, the suggestions, the amazing creativity you have and the tidbits of your lives that you have shared with me. I thank you!
If you want to stay in touch, I have posted my twitter, Facebook and blogspot accounts before. I bet you can find me on LastFM, Yelp and even LinkedIn, if you really want. I'll check in here in the coming days until I go gray.
If we don't stay in touch have a great life and stay cool. Think of me when there is a really awesome Morrissey song on or The Three Amigos are on. I'd even take it if you think of me when you hear the Sex Pistols.

How have I not seen this blog before?! How did I miss it?! Bloody hell!!
You're the person I treasure most from this site as well my darling and you're right, we are best friends, and that link will never be broken
It's like everything has come full circle for you now and I am happy that you are leaving the site in the position that you are in. I also feel, as much as I will miss you around these parts, that it is right for you to leave it behind at this very point.
I'm also delighted that we can and will stay in touch, that makes me very happy indeed

PS: Martin Jarvis, I'm not sure where you'll know him from, he's been on loads of tv programmes here, he's a proper AC-TOR. He's been in Doctor Who a few times though, could that be it perhaps? xx
