Hello Vancouver!
Okay, so it has come to my attention that I should get some kind of idea of what I would like to do while in Vancouver, and put it out there for people so that they can join me if possible. So that’s what this post will be. I am going to make a list of things that I would like to do and see while there, I will leave it open to suggestion as well, as I have time on my hands, and you may know of something I can’t miss. I will ask that you either comment here, or on twitter @MattyDorf, or on facebook, or really anywhere, so that we can all come together in some kind of mishmashed harmony!
I will arrive the afternoon of Monday the 23rd of July, and I fly out the evening of Tuesday the 31st.
Things I know I want to do without a doubt!
See The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX, I know IMAX is a little more expensive than regular theaters, but I gotta see it like this, just have too.
Science World for the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit, this came to my attention recently, and sounds amazing.
I want to go visit the Penguins and all the fishies that hang with them, but mostly the Penguins.
Novo Pizzeria is a place I have to dine, been following them on twitter too long not too!
I would like to walk the Sea Wall, because it seems like the thing too do.
I want to go see Rogers Arena and have a picture taken with the statue.
I am up for any kind of meetings for coffee, beers, lunches, suppers, whatever you have in mind.
I believe I would like to go the art museum as well, I always like those.
The anthropologist in me HAS to go to the Museum of Anthropology!
Any kind of wandering around with a camera is also something I would be up for!
Oh yeah, you guys have fireworks on the 28th I believe, so those will be oohed and aahed at as well.
The Grouse Grind would be cool to check out too!
I have my tattoo consultation on the 26th at noon, and will hopefully get inked soon after, so that is one time period spoken for.
That’s a decent list right there, so look it over, see what stands out to you, add to it if you think it needs it, but keep in mind, I am easy going and would love to see you.
