Hey everybody! I have been working on some things in the real world, and as much as I want things to go great there, that's not what Life usually has in store... Anywho, I'm just throwing an update on here because I have to remind my self to actually post. 
Been working a lot, and it's slowly killing my body.... I need to have some down-time or some relaxation after 6 hours a day 6 days a week of cheap labor... Why did I convince myself this was a good idea, again?
Also, been checking out some of those movies coming up that I'm excited for, like the new Star Trek Into Darkness, (is Sherlock REALLY Khan?!?) and perhaps the next/last Iron Man 3 for Robert Downey Jr. I liked his Stark, I really hope the issues or whatever that came up work out. How about that SHIELD tv show, eh? Coulson's back! Probably got saved by tech or something after the Avengers headed out for the fight. I'm pretty sure. He prob will not be in the next Avengers movie though. That'd piss 'em all off lol. Aight well i'm out. Hope everyone enjoyed their April Fools and whatnot. I didn't pull anything, but I enjoyed some of the ones that did happen, like George Takei's Star Wars Episode VII post. Priceless.

UGH!! I haven't blogged in way, way too long. Been working, been gaming, and been shaking up my life...
The thing is, my ex/bestfriend got in touch with me about a month ago...and I couldn't be happier. It's been this roller coaster, of sorts, emotionally and physically. We hadn't talked in two years...we had ended things badly, and it caused a kind of black hole in both our lives. She needed space, I needed to grow up, find some confidence and get my head on straight. It was a long, difficult road, but it was necessary. But we're together again, and honestly, I think we're the stronger for it. I love her, she loves me. That's all I need. That and food, water, oxygen, etc..
For my upcoming birthday in march, I will be getting a tattoo! This is the basis for it, but I will be redrawing and tweaking it until I'm satisfied. I have two months, so no pressure? lol
In other news, I now work mornings, instead of nights...so I can finally enjoy my nights, instead of waste them working. Hardware stores suck, btw...
at least, Menards does...
On an unrelated note where I again express my love for and disappointment of (that they aren't real yet) Pokemon: I want one!!!!

The holiday season is starting to get on my nerves, mostly because I've worked retail for the past decade...but also because I don't know what a normal holiday is that doesn't include fighting/yelling/things breaking. Messed up family issues and all that : ( On the bright side, my best friends are having me over for Christmas, and my girlfriend is coming with, so I'm pretty damn excited for that. Won't be much gift giving for us, since payday isnt till after New Years... But hey, at least there's gonna be a new year, right?? lol I'll post more soon, I need to escape the outside world more often...

Oh man, too long since I've blogged! Ok, so recap of the last month or two:
1.) GOT A JOB! WOOO!
2.) Finally met a few people in real life that I've been talking to online for awhile. Exciting X D
3.) Finished the first half of my campaign storyline; still deciding if I want to turn it into a novel, cuz it's awesome.
4.) Got Resident Evil 6 and despite reviews, I love it.
That's about it. I ate. I slept. I worked. I gamed. More later!

Been awhile since I've been here to post a blog, but I'm here now so that counts. Ahem: I finally got a job! woo! It's not what I was looking for, but I think I'm gonna like it nonetheless. And it means pay, so by no means can I complain lol. And JUST IN TIME TOO! Wizard World is right around the corner, so hopefully I'll have a paycheck to blow on the convention.
I've been doing a lot besides that as well. Finally puting together my campaign for a D&D group, so hopefully that goes smoothly and everyone sticks together this time. By which I mean make it to game nights dutifully, instead of beins spazmatic and flakey. Need dedication!
Anywho...also trying to decide whether I want to go out tonight or stay in...I have money to go out, but idk if I have the motivation or the group to go with. People are always so busy, and I had a long day full of chores and errands and crap...

Still hunting for that elusive job... D:< However my applications are going over well with some of the companies I've been looking into, so it may just be a waiting game right now. Hopefully one of them hires me, I'm tired of waiting.
I've been reading a lot more lately, I'm happy to say. Finished A Game of Thrones and will be starting A Clash of Kings as soon as it arrives. Also been flipping through a few other novels I picked up here and there... I've read The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie, which was a recommendation from a friend, and it was FANTASTIC. If you like bloody battles, politics and intrigue, that is. Also been re-reading Ghost Story by Jim Butcher, in anticipation of Cold Front whenever it comes out. Excited!1!!
Figured I'd throw in some randomness while I'm at it, for everyone to enjoy.

So I've been giving a lot of thought to where I want to be in the next six years. I'm getting there bit by bit, but I realize it takes a decent few considerations to really be sure about something. I've been through a lot in my short life, and while some of it has made me jaded, I try to keep a smile on my face because I don't think it really is worth the effort to stay depressed about some things.

I remember posting this to Facebook awhile back, because some friends were discussing who had better zombie apocalypse survival plans. And I'm all like "My house. Who wants in?" lawlz. All the hysteria about the Miami Incident, I personally believe is well deserved. Zombies are upon us folks; it's time to make sure you are prepared.
