Hello all! Been awhile since I posted on here, been super busy shooting weddings etc...
I've also finally started shooting live music again, working for a couple of online magazines, one of which is also printed... Squeee.
Also, in other news...
Canon 1Ds for sale, I've had it since about October 2011. Selling due to upgrade.
The shutter was replaced in April, there are probably around 5,500 shutter actuation on this new shutter.
There are some minor marks around where the straps attach and other small marks from general wear, such as missing paint on the hot shoe.
1 Original battery and 1 non Canon battery Only thing missing is the neck strap, which I never use anyway as it would break my neck with the 70-200L attached.

Well, so much for my regular updates, my only excuse is that The_Postman has been a very busy boy.
2/3 Weddings a week for the passed few months has pretty much wiped out all of my free time.
I can honestly say I never thought I'd be shooting weddings every weekend, I kinda assumed I'd still be shooting gigs every weekend (paid or unpaid). But I bloody love doing it, every wedding is different in some way.
Saying that, I would love to do some alternative style weddings, something a little different...

So, yeah, I clearly haven't kept up with my promise to blog more often.
I do have excuses, not great ones to be fair.. Been busy at work and also with my photography, and that plus life gets in the way of blogging on here.
I also did this
That's me in my jump suit, just before I climbed into a tiny plane, climbed to 13,000Ft and myself and my instructor to whom I was very closely strapped (We got VERY close around a minute before we jumped, I was pulled into his lap just as they turned off the engines and opened the door!), launched us out of the door!
We were in free fall for around 15 seconds, which was...Erm...Hard to describe...I have never felt anything like it, totally weightless, falling towards the ground. I am pretty sure I uttered some expletives as we fell, along with screams of utter exhilaration!
Then the parachute was released and we floated to the ground for around 10 minutes. Turns out I'm not a big fan of turning sharply in a parachute, we did have to do this closer to the ground as the wind was getting up.
The always amazing Honey was there to look after me before and after the jump, even though it was a long assed day, to which I am very grateful...
And that's all for now...
oh and one more thing... Honey makes lethal cocktails!

It's been awhile since I used this profile. Not for any reason other than I've not found the time.
I'm back, for now at least.

Secondly I seem to have accumulated 3 Digital SLR's.
I really need to sell one of them!
It's a Canon 30D. It was bought brand new about 2 years ago and is in excellent condition!
I also have a 70-300mm lens that I don't need.
I was thinking somewhere around �350 including box/instructions/memory card and plus postage.
If any interested parties want a battery grip to go with it then the price will be �400 plus postage.
