So I just finished reading "Beloved." Best. Book. Ever. How is this book getting banned in high schools across the country? Man/Cow love may not = hawt! but Good Lord when did the decency police get the right to censor the truth out of reality? Are our childrens' children going to think that people who were not given access to "normal" ways and means of satisfying sexual urges simply said, "fuck it" and gave up on the idea all together? What's sick is that the nut-cases that are trying to ban the book are banning it because of the bestiality-- as if that's the part of the book to be ashamed of... and not the fact that the main character is so destroyed by the actions of the white characters in the book that she would rather
