Failure. I was not able to get my shit together for a show this weekend, So I had to drop out. The issue was cultural sensitivity. When working with culturally important dance styles, and trying to turn mesh them with contemporary forms, one should follow proper protocol. I was unable to follow the proper steps, so the best choice was to back out. I still want to finish this piece, its important to me. It'll just take more time. I will back burner it for now I suppose. Sucks though.
For now I will focus my attention on my new busking act. It needs to be ready by next weekend. I'll be fun to take it out on the streets. Looking forward to it

San Francisco was AMAZING!!! Had such a blast at the Fire Expo. I hope I can perform again next year.

Headed to San Francisco pretty soon for the Union Square Fire Dancing Expo. I am sooooo fucking excited!!! This is going to be so cool. I have to admit that this is my first time traveling out of Canada. I'm not nervous or anything, its just another place really. I am just excited to lose my international travel virginity, lol. Great news, and some other shitty news. The Kickstarter for the Union Square Fire Expo in San Francisco was a totall success, so the Expo is going to go ahead and I get my chance to perform infront of a crowd of 1000's . Its a dream come true.
The shitty stuff. After extending an olive branch to my exfriend and now boyfriend of my exgirlfriend, he sent back a message proving that he is infacta selfcentred halfwit. Some people are just real douchbags. Oh well, atleast I get to feel more justified in calling hime a douchbag, and I get the satisfaction of knowing for sure that I'm the better man. I'll just leave it in the past now.
But yay for success. There are great thing on the horizon, and I look forward to them all!

I just moved to Toronto! I am excited for the adventures to come in this amazing city. I have so many things I want to do, and so many people I want to meet. This will be a great new chapter in my life. Give me all you got Toronto!
