I've been missing. Tune into www.ethanbanville.com for updates in case I go a year without reporting again.
Been a million. Been studiously writing about to finish my book. Waiting on a few projects. Hopefully one will pop. Homegirl's got her greencard now. Yay! In B.C. getting the rest of her stuff. Sox lost both damn games I went to see in Anaheim. Oh, and I got my brakes working perfectly. AFter all it was the bubbles trapped in the master cylinder.
In brake bleeding hell right now. Not sure why. I've pumped eight liters of fluid in and my local mechanic buds have done another ten more. Stupid air bubbles.
In other news, married life going well. Hopefully my girl will haver her work visa soon. She's getting bored. Can't blame her. And with me working from home, I'm surprised I haven't driven her off the deep end. :-P

God damn the flu! Thought I had kicked this cold, but here we are again. Grrrrr. Anyway, decided to use the time to upload some stage two photos of my half sleeve. The half sleeve is finished, but I haven't taken any pictures of the finished product. Will post them soon. Cough. Sneeze.

Wow, just noticed that my last post was post ball snipping. That's like months ago. Things are mellow, hanging out with the wife (that happened on October 18th, crazy right?). Been writing a lot and look forward to securing a gig I've been up for in January. Fingers crossed.
Back on track, balls are finally healed (tested them out last night). Man that took longer than expected. Two weeks, my ass! Hope to be back sk8ing on Sunday. In other news, finally going out with pitches and it looks like a reality show I came up with is being optioned. So off we go to pitch and sell and in the meantime come up with ideas for a cartoon character that's done every story under the son. Hmmmm.
Hola, S.G.s and visitors. Lots been goin' on lately. So, I'm back in town, went to New England for a week. Freakin' wicked awesome. Weather was good and times with friends were plenty. I think one of my favorite parts was getting caught in a torrential downpour. That hasn't happened in a while. Me and my girl had to duck into a doorway it was so bad. Fun!
In other news, still enjoying some time off. Hoping it won't be too long before my next gig. Man, it's tough out there. I've heard some stories from friends. Got some pitches coming up. We'll see if something clicks.
And finally, I've officially sterilized myself. No, I didn't cut my wiener off. I got snipped. I've known for years now that I didn't want kids. And now that I'm getting married to someone who doesn't want kids, it just made sense. If anyone's interested in one of the best docs in the country for this, gimme a shout, I'll hook you up. Seriously, this guy invented the outpatient vasectomy. I literally walked out on my own after the short 20 minute surgery.
Well, that's it for now. Gotta go do some work on my bike, then some writing... the usual drill. Skateboarding Friday, whoo-hoo!

Been a while since I posted. Work's been busy and with my lovely l.d. relationship in the mix I don't have much surfin' time these days. Hope everyone's well and makin' it happen.

Holy great night! Went to The Billies last night at the Beverly Hilton.
http://www.womenssportsfoundation.org/cgi-bin/iowa/index.html
If you don't know what it is, it's a great event for a great organization. The Womens' Sports Foundation which was started by Billie Jean King in '74 to help women be able to earn a living as professional athletes and has gone on to accomplish so much more.
It was a great night with lots o' celebs including Aimee Mullins who is one of the most amazing/hottest chicks I've ever seen. If you don't know who she is, she could beat any of us in a race and she's a double amputee.
But the best part of the night was an intimate performance by Sir Elton John. He played all his best and rocked the night out.
Truly amazing and I recommend everyone check out their organization. And come next year! It's awesome.
