Doing the C25k Progam. Ran 4 out of 5 days this week.
Monday seemed like easy, but good exercise.
Tuesday was so hard - I had to push myself really hard to finish, and I was exhausted afterwards.
Wednesday I was so sore, decided to take the day off.
Thursday was a bit sore, and running felt good. Seemed a bit easier than Monday.
Today was the easiest of all.
When I was around 300lbs, running of any distance would cause my knees to ache and swell - now the only negative effects are general muscle soreness in the calves and quads - knees feel great.
Must have been all that extra weight. I am sure when I am 60 my knees and back will be so thankful.
There is a 5k run here at the end of May .... if I keep going I might be able to do it.
I have until May 14th to decide.
