So much for that two-week wait! The web series I shot went live today!

The Washington Post has started doing dramatic interpretations of celebrity Twitters, and I got called in to do an episode!

I just competed a project that I am incredibly proud of.

The problem? I can't tell you about it for another two weeks or so. Consider this a big 'ol tease.

And six weeks later......done.

The show was a big success. Here are both the reviews we got. And no, I'm not leaving out any bad reviews. We didn't get any!

Beyond the show, I haven't been on much because my beloved laptop has been dying a slow painful death. It's literally been hot to the touch lately so I've been using it only when necessary.

And on that, I'm pleased to announced that I am writing this on my brand spanking new iMac. Yeah, I made the switch just last night. I'm a Mac guy now. As soon as I turned it on, a soul patch magically appeared on my chin. When I shave it, it immediately returns. I've also been spending some time this morning practicing with the complementary hackysack. I'll get it down yet.

So far I love the Mac. So fast and intuitive. I have a lot to learn though. Oh, and this tiny keyboard has got to go. My giant hands barely fit on the damnable thing.

Hey, I'm so busy wrapped up with my current project that I'm having trouble finding the time to update this blog. Even more than usual!

Ye gods, time she flies.

I know, I know, I KEEP SAYING THAT in these now rare posts. I am around, I just have near as much time for SG browsing as I used to!

What's going on in my life? My company is about to announce our next show for this year's Fringe festival. It's a world premiere and I am very excited about it.

I'm on the hunt for a new a day job though. I've been in my current one too long and I want to leave soon. Of course, it happens to be the worst job market of my adult life. I'm lucky to have a job that lets me have my own place.

Random geek notes:

1. Saw the last episode of Battlestar Galactica last night. Loved it.
2. If you're not watching Dollhouse, you're missing out. It's really kicked into high gear.

It was my great honor to attend part of the inauguration of Barack Obama today.

It was even worth the six hours spent in line. And the cold. And the pushing and shoving.

We made it to the parade rout just in time to see our new President walk by, not 10 feet in front of us. I even had a perfect photo lined up before a white-haired gentleman literally jumped into the shot. But he was there, Mr. Obama, flashing that famous smile in my general direction.

I do have photos of the event, including a blurry shot of Joe Biden, and will post them later. Right now, I'm off to bed. It has been a very long day.
