Important matters of state.

I'm off to Canada for the first time later this week. I'm so looking forward to being away. Too much shit going on at work here to deal with. I need a break, desperately.

I've got a lot more reading and studying to do as far as the bible goes. The one thing I know for sure is that all this "collective salvation" shit is nonsense. We have an INDIVIDUAL relationship with God. What Obama and Sharpton refer to is Liberation Theology. Which is a perversion of the gospel. And no cutting off of the hands.

Sharpton has been quoted as saying "our goal was not to put a Black man in the White House, but to put equal things in everybody's home". That is by definition Marxism, NOT Christianity. (Sharpton can find the race card in any event).

As far as TunnelVision goes.......He grows on ya. I don't agree with his tactics and words, but I understand where he's coming from. If I was a rich business owner like he is. I'd be about to explode on this current administration. Even the Left has to admit that Obama is anti-business. All this hate the rich nonsense.

Look, I said up front that I'm just now getting into the Bible and have a LONG way to go to fully understand.

If "collective salvation" is not Liberation Theology"? Than what is it? James Cone is the "founder" of this Liberation Theology, Jerimiah Wright preaches it every Sunday in Chicago. Which by the way, is where Obama spent 20 years of his life!

I've always enjoyed the back and forth with you, because behind all the bullshit I can tell your an intelligent guy. Obviously we disagree politically, but at least you have a brain. Most of the libs on this site just don't have a fucking clue! I don't mind the sarcasm as I'm guilty of it too. What turns me off about you is the name calling. I like to at least pretend were grown ups and not in 5th grade.

For the record, I was not a Bush fan. I supported his war on terror, but my love for him ends there. Bush and Obama are both Progressives, which I believe is a cancer to the American system. Both guys are/were big government. My biggest problem with Obama is that he won't admit he's a Marxist. I'm sure you've heard him spout the "redistribute the wealth" nonsense? Which is by definition Marxism.

Now we can debate whether or not Marxism or capitalism is better. But let's at least admit to the facts.

Admitting that your an atheist helps me understand a lot about you. Thanks. I fully support each individuals choice, but explains your lack of understanding on many issues.

I will again ask, If "collective salvation" is not liberation theology. Than what is it?

Second, if "redistributing the wealth" is not a socialist/marxist view, than what is it?

My main point on both issues is that whatever Obama's faith may be, it is NOT Christianity. Furthermore, whatever "redistribute the wealth" is. It certainly is not capitalism. Can we at least agree on those points?

We can fight about what Obama's beliefs and actions are called. But they sure as hell are not the foundations that made America what it is today.

First BLT. I should have made myself clearer. I left out the Black in LT. That's what I was referring to. And that is what Jerimiah Wright preaches at his Trinity Church. He doesn't deny it. Only Obama does.

Second, I know both the definition of Marxism and Socialism. I know it's hard for those on the Left to admit these are Obama's policy's. I guess we'll just have to debate until the end of time as to what Obam'a's goal for America is. I suppose anti-colonialism is a more accurate term than either Marxism or Socialism. It really doesn't matter what YOU want to call it. The main point I was making is that this president has a completely different vision for America than any other president in history. He does not believe in the free market. He does not believe in capitalism. Call me what you want but I have no doubt he is implementing the Cloward and Piven strategy.

I understand how Obama is a wet dream for the moocher society. If big government and total nanny state from cradle to grave is what gets you wet, than I see why you defend Obama so much. I never contend that the Republicans have all the answers or solutions. But I do feel that the modern day Democrats have become morally bankrupt. The progressives have taken over their party. Progressives, socialist, marxist, communist, whatever label you prefer, is by far the wrong answer for America. It's NEVER worked throughout history. Yet the Lefty always says the same thing (it hasn't worked because we haven't had the right people to implement it). All nonsense of course, but hey, who cares right? As long as those welfare checks keep coming!

Right now in the US, 42% of the population pays no taxes. How long do you think that is sustainable? whatever
