I don't get my sis-in-law's reaction either, it was really bizarre. I'm sure my brother doesn't know about any of this, but I'm just going to let it go. I still love the bracelet idea, but I think I'll save it for a Christmas or birthday present. My SIL has a horrible relationship with her mother, so there may be some drama going around involving my niece that I don't even know about yet, and I just caught her on a bad day.
I did have a talk with my brother when they were still dating and I realized how serious it was. They had problems, mostly related to her clinginess and insecurity and her insane family. He wanted to take a break from the relationship, and I let him know my honest opinion of her and how I missed spending time with him. He agreed to some extent...but couldn't take a break from her let alone break it off because she fell apart when he suggested it. I think in some ways he liked her neediness.
