It has been a crazy couple of weeks!!!!

I now have 2 new nieces, Mckinze Lynn Burkett and Sara Arleen Burkett!!! Two of my younger brothers had their babies within a 13 hour period!

I started dating a beautiful and wonderful lady. Things there are going swell.

Owners at both of my jobs took Mini vacations at different times, leaving me to run the Bar or Shop on top of my regular duties at both jobs.

The only thing I have missed out on has been Gyn time!

My family's bar turns 21 today.
The parents are either out of town or out sick.
That leaves me to run the show!

I have some of the guys from the tattoo shop making Battleshot boards, water guns filled with shots, and all kinds of party favors.....

I LOVE MY LIFE!!!!!!!

Finally took a whole day off yesterday, too bad it was because I had food poisoning, vomited, shook, and slept all day! FAIL! Oh buddy, it was a rough one!

Back at the shop today, out tomorrow for my piercing re-certification! Should be back Friday and Saturday!

Had a busy busy day, work, gym, back to work.
Closing up now, might head to the bar for a few drinks!

Had a delicious lunch at Harry's today but their "Ragin Cajun Mary" seriously lacked that kick I was looking for. I added my Tabasco and Cajun seasoning to remedy the issue though!

I had a bunch of piercings and jewelry sales upon return. Now I'm ready for a nap!

Sean Dowdell is a great piercer and definitely deserves the respect he gets. However his DVD's left much to be desired. When someone of his experience releases a DVD titled "Advanced Ear And Facial Piercing" I expect a dvd of advanced procedures not basic piercings and techniques. The "Successful Microdermal Anchor Techniques" did deliver what the title promised but in the end it was just a bare bones rushed product too.

These will both be a great view for my apprentice for him to see variances on techniques from a veteran but I feel as if I wasted $40 on each dvd. I hope in the future Sean actually challenges himself and produces a dvd that shows his skill and that can challenge my thinking process.

Going to an old friend's wedding today. It's weird seeing us all grow up and apart in different ways, yet still friends. We all were once very much the same but as we grow up we have truly become ourselves.

Holy Hangover! My apprentice, his lady, and myself went out to my family's bar last night. Apparently my bartender, Kim wanted to get my beyond obliterated. parts of the end of the night are a blur! Had a great night though!!!

Been chilling all day, did a couple piercings but skipped out on the gym...

Sleepy but have to bartend tonight!
