Well I scored myself a secondary temp job helping to set up some store and maybe do a few shifts there when it opens. It'll be good to actually have a slight bit of breathing space in regards to money at the moment. I might actually be able to explore Sydney some and maybe even pick up some comics and stuff. Well we'll see how that goes.

I'm not really getting enough hours at my current employment and, despite the fact I'm having fun there so far, there is only so much time you can live on your savings before starvation or homelessness becomes a clear and present danger.
Still a bit cool in Sydney. Not exactly cold, but I can at least still wear my hoodie and feel comfortable.
I'm going to go exploring someday soon to break up the monotony of going to work, coming home, looking for work, bumming around when I don't have a shift, repeat. Who knows, I might find a "help wanted" sign in a store somewhere in the city that I can apply for.
On the plus side of having less money. I've learned that I can cook rather well with very little. I'm not exactly a great cook yet, I think I need a little more practice before I can say if I'm good or not. If I can eat my own cooking and not be violently ill the next couple of days then I think there is potential there somewhere.

Applied at uni, now all I have to do is await the judgement of the court, so to speak. Might sit the STAT test and see if that gives me an extra boost to my chances of getting in.

Had an awesome night out on Friday night. Went to Blink with a mate of mine, had lots of drinks, danced with some little cutie and finally got home and clambered into bed at about 6am in the morning. Damn epic night.

I have employment again, I now work at EB games.
Went in and spoke to the regional manager today. Chatted to me for a while just to make sure my friend's assessment of me was alright and gave me the go ahead. He seemed pleased enough and quite positive about my possible contribution to the store.
Regardless of all that, it feels good to have at least some work again.

Well, I've moved. Here I am in my new home. Shite load colder then where I come from (which isn't hard).
Work has been sorted out now so that's one less worry and during the week I shall see about going back to University next year. I'll see what's available, what course of action I should take, all that kind of jazz.

A bite nervous really. It's a long way from where I am to Sydney. Been going nuts the last couple of days going over and over in my head what I've done, what I need to do while I'm still here and what needs to be done when I get there. Even after all that I still think I'll miss something important and get into trouble some how, even if it's just a small amount of trouble.
Oh well, these things happen.
I'm still amazed that someone reactivated my account for me. I'm very grateful indeed and I'm quite curious to know who it might have been. The responsible party want to send me a message so I can give them a personal thanks?
Bought my first Macbook pro the other day. It's been a bit of a learning curve for an old windows head like myself and I don't really see what the big fuss about Mac OS is about. It hasn't really seemed to run any differently to my windows vista machine. The only real advantages, which have proven very handy indeed, is that the battery life is awesome and the screen, being a newer computer, is the same resolution as my older PC laptop in a smaller size and thus great for doing simple photo editing on. However, Mac won't truly win me over...I game too much for that
