You can be a fighter and not a martyr. Speak out, but make sure others are responsible for themselves. You can't fight their battles for them.

I admire people who have the fortitude to be like that but I also completely understand where you're coming from. I gave up being the shoulder to cry on and the voice of the downtrodden a while ago... it's extremely draining to carry other people's problems on your shoulders, especially when you realise that your own life isnt perfect and you should be concentrating on yourself.

They're losing one of the good ones though
