Happy April all, mine is going along.
We, MissTiff and I, had our initial walk through of our townhouse, and it's coming along nicely, only one minor change needed to be made, everything else is good.
Not sure if I mentioned it last time, but MissTiff and I are engaged, and doing some very early wedding planning, we're giving ourselves a long time to get things together, so it's not so bad.
The major thing on my mind is my new employment. I'm a clerk with the Federal Government, and I do enjoy it. I also enjoy the adult wage I now make, though I wish I wasn't on a term.
However my new boss is difficult to deal with to say the least. I'm not sure what I did, but she treats me like I'm incompetent about anything. We have weekly meetings, if I bring anything up, question or statement, she mis-interrupts what I've said and makes me look like an asshole. She's also, on a few occasions she's basically threatened my job, suggesting that if I weren't to listen or work harder the "resources" for my position may be "re-evaluated".
The saving grace is she's done as my boss next month, but I'm concerned she's possibly set in motion things that will bugger up any future term extensions, that said, I'll worry about it when it happens I guess, or starting drinking.

Happy End of March all, I hope all is well. What's happening in my life, plenty. First MissTiff and I are engaged, so that's good times. Now comes the planning, but it should be good. I was actually thinking, because we're both older-ish we don't need much stuff, so we might end up having a "break even" wedding, lol.
The job is working out, got my term extended for another 3 months, so hopefully that will be followed by more 3 month or longer terms. I enjoy the working, being a public servant and giving back I guess.
The house is coming along very nicely, it's completely sealed, windows, doors and a completed roof, so now we count the days and move in.
Finally, this past week we had Snowmagedon, so much snow it was fucking ridiculous. The road conditions were SO bad in the area we live, they pulled the Snow Plows off the road. At the end of it we got 40cm of snow, that's 1.3 Feet in less then 24hrs.

Holy Crap it's February...so not that exciting, but what can you do. The new job seems to be going well, still no word on whether or not they will extend my term, but I have a decent to good feeling about it. I'm working a bunch of overtime because it's available, Yeah the Fed.
The house is progressing nicely, we, that's MissTiff and I, went from a small hole, to a large hole, to a foundation, to a basement form and fingers crossed for the start of framing. We also lucked out on some hookups, for cheaper furniture and a bed. So we're getting pretty excited about things.
Other then that my life is pretty straight forward, the Triad (that's the Kittens) are good times, happy and healthy. So we're just getting ready to start the packing and moving process.
Also, picked up a new game that I've been working through, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
It's actually pretty fun and a decent challenge.

So the finally part of the plan has come together. First, MissTiff and I got our house, finishes and appliances picked out. Then we got MissTiff a nice new car, brand new 2013 Honda Fit, really nice little car. And finally, I got myself a new job that seems to pay an adult wage. I'll be working for the Federal Government in a couple weeks, and I couldn't be more stoked.
I'll explain it this way, I'm starting this brand new job and it will pay me, per annum, $7K more then I make now, despite being with my current company for 7 and a half years.
It's the right time and I feel good about it.

So today was the big day, MissTiff and I handed over the 1st half of our down payment lifting all conditions and we are the official owners of dirt, which will soon be a hole, which will soon be a foundation, then a townhouse.
We're extremely excited, I never thought I would actually own property in my life, it's nifty.
Also, Ichi kitten-san is doing better, feeling better and we're improving the inappropriate urination problem.
Now all I need is one of the jobs I've applied for to come my way. So far though everything seems to be coming up Millhouse

Quite the week, it started on the weekend with MissTiff and I putting an offer down on a townhouse. We're really excited, but all we have right now is dirty where a hole needs to be dug, so now it's saving until we move in. Though technically we have to waiting until all the paperwork is finalized.
I also finally heard back from one of the many Gov jobs I've been applying for, so I'll see how it goes with an interview/testing on Thursday.
Other then that, we hopefully find out how to fix Ichigo this weekend, inappropriate urination is no fun.
Oh, and I do miss hockey, but whatever we can't fix that now can well. So go OKC Barons and Oil Kings.

So as I explained in my last Blog entry, MissTiff and I travelled to Englandtown for the 2nd part of my Brother's wedding, the in England blessing. That was all pretty good, the church was nice, the post party was pretty good and the trip was generally alot of fun, I have a bunch of pics to pop up so I hope you enjoy.

Well we, MissTiff and I, are on the T-Minus countdown to our trip to England. My brother's wedding was amazing, stressful lol, but amazing. And his wife, my new wonderful sister-in-law looked STUNNING.
So this is my 3rd trip to England, 2nd to Exeter and 3rd to London, but it's MissTiff first trip of this regard, so I'm very excited to show her around and just generally have a great time.
For any of my Europe or England based friends, anything you feel we have to see?
Can't wait to leave on the Jet plane.
