So I just found out I'm working on Thanksgiving. Not a big surprise, but still a little annoying. Knowing this my family was nice enough to have thanksgiving dinner the day before Thanksgiving. I just got a phone call that says I get to work all week next week. so even with the date change I will still be missing out on the pig out of the year.
Yay.
Yay.
I've barely left the house since Sunday...
Mostly I've been taking care of my dog who just came home from surgery, but I'm starting to get a little cabin fever. You'd think with all this spare time I've acquired I would be writing more, but I just can't find the inspiration to write...
Is it August yet?

Well, Comic-Con is over for me. It was a lot of fun and I met a lot of cool people. Saw Seth Green trying to sneak through the exhibit hall, he kept shushing anyone who noticed him. Saw Felicia Day, but was on duty at the time so I couldn't get a picture. Then there was Elijah Wood, seeing him was cool. There were a lot more celebs I saw, but those are the only ones I thought of off the top of my head.
Anyways, Comic-Con is over for me....until next year.... Now I look to the future! Need to find a new security job if GMI doesn't hire me back for a full time position. Not too worried about that though. More important than that, I'm finally starting to write my newest story. My graveyard shifts gave me a lot of time to think and work things out with it. so, I'm finally back at what I love to do.

I've been working as security at Comic Con for the last two days. Pulled two twelve hour shifts in 36 hours. The Con's been amazing so far, so many fun people hanging around, the costumes so far have been awesome and it's not even Saturday yet!
Work itself is actually taking more out of me than I thought it would. Worked five to five then four to four. Time passes really slow after two in the morning. Fun fact, while they don't turn off the lights in most of the convention center, they do turn them off in the hallways around ballroom 20. Patrolling the the dark was creepy.

I've learned that working a theater show can be very therapeutic. When you're in the sound and light booth you can't have many loud noises and you can't get too distracted so most of the time you're left with your thoughts, granted I'm currently writing this from the booth...during a show. Anyways, what was I talking about again?
Comic-con's coming up. Looking forward to that. Still in the process of getting money to buy stuff there. I only have a Saturday pass this year...That's kinda depressing. Plus side I get to go everyday to work there as security.
You ever just get the urge to be annoying sometimes? There are just so many reasons to stop caring and just be a jerk. It's the hardest thing in the world to repress when you're talking to someone with their head shoved so far up their ass that they can lick their own tongue. It's just so fun to watch them squirm!
So I only got to go to two days of Comic Con this year....so sad... Especially after ten years of going for all five days. It's kinda weird to not be sitting in line right now.... Oh well...
