Hurray for mondays...
Our pompus prof. of anatomy gave perhaps the worlds worst quiz this morning, I think the average grade was a 4/15... I am fairly sure I got a 10/15... really hate that guy more and more as the days go by. It would be alright if he actually talked us through learning some of the information instead of babbling about the odd minute crap he finds amusing that happens to be in the general viscinity of the week's topic. (which are only in rational order this quarter because he is teaching directly from the book since he actually knows little about the subject it seems)... On the bright side, Patient care class had an exam right afterwards that was well written (especially by comparison) and I feel confident that i did quite well on it.
Tonight is Karaoke night again, a few people from class are going to join me but sadly it has to be an early night... class at 7am, though I already finished the assignment for the next two weeks... hmm maybe I'll find something fun to do after.

What's blind to the world but still can see?
What's tied to nothing, yet still isn't free?
It's torn but unbroken, mangled but pristine.
Stumbles through ashes, yet still looks clean.
Feels very small in a shell quite large,
Protonically moved without charge.
Whatever could this crazy thing be?
Of course you've guessed, it's only me...

Well today my motorcycle gets out of the shop. YAY!!! Just got to drive down after class an pick her up... hmm she still needs a name. any suggestions? This morning came really fast, I usually don't have to wake up early on Fridays but I offered to help Dr. Valero with a test she was giving this morning and didn't have enough patients to pair up with students. Now I got 3 hours to kill... almost want to go get my bike now but I wouldn't have a ride to the shop this early. Oh well, I can easily spend 3 hours surfin through the beautiful SGs. Need some kind of pick me up, it feels like this has been a real crappy week even though nothing really crappy happened. Yesterday was just one of those feeling outcasted days and I guess it's carried over, oh well. Heres to a better rest of my day...
Test days suck
Today we had two tests, one was a practical application of adjustment technique (can we properly lie a patient down on this uncomfortable table in the proper maner, and then set up to do the adjustment correctly) which was by far the more stressful of the two. The other test was in Foundations (philosophy, though more like how to educate patients this quarter) which was fairly simple. It amazes me how two relatively small blocks of time in a day can make you feel down about just about everything the rest of the day. Luckily a motorcycle joyride is usually a quick fix for feelin glum, sadly mine is in the shop still because somehow they don't have a fuel cable in stock... correct me if I am wrong but isn't it just a length of hose??? shouldn't they have reels of that lying around in their repair shop? From what I understand it should have been a quick fix (aside from taking the bike apart so you can see the fuel lines). grrr oh well, life goes on. I have mom's Camero till my bike is fixed so it will have to do.

What a wonderful weekend...
Actually I don't mean that to sound overly sarchastic (partially is ok though). Friday was fine, Saturday was awesome (we went to a bar that does Karaoke and we drank and sang all night). There was this old man there that was dancing to every single song (and I think it was an attempt at the robot, though in need of that oil can from the wizard of Oz) He was there with his daughter who at first my friend Dave was sure she came from another country because she had a "thick accent". To me she sounded like a not-nearly-as-high-pitched version of that lady who played in the nanny (whatever that show was on TV years back). Anyways we talked to them most of the night and they were quite awesome people as it turns out. He is a war vet many times over and had fun taking my friend Rayray up on the dance floor and making her blush something fierce. So i made a point to sing lots of slow songs so she would get to dance as much as possible
(I'm such a meanie) I probably would have let it slide except we were talking about songs I was going to sing when she mentioned i couldn't sing slow songs becuase her BF is such an ass and didn't want to come and she wouldn't have a dance partner... I showed her... anyways before my weekend sounds too awesome, sunday things fell apart....
Sunday - a quick review
1. had to drive to my Parent's house to drop off some paperwork required to get a new lease, it was a beautiful day so I took my motorcycle - duh
2. parent's mysteriously were not home... so i left a note saying I was in town and would look for them at the usual places
3. found dad out on a joyride on his harley - yay for an excuse to ride nowhere for the next several hours untill the harley dealership opened and he had to put his bike in for maintenance.
4. rode home with dad on my bike
5. smelled gas
6. discovered that my 4 week old bike is leaking gas faster than hell
7. had to drive said leaky bike 18 miles to the dealership... worried about it exploding under me the whole way...
gotta love life's little twists and turns. anyways I typed way the hell too much today...

Anyone got a towel?
Ever had one of those weeks where it seems everyone you know has needed to cry for some reason? ... ya it's been a shitty week. One friend's fiance just dumbed her on the same day her landlord kicked her out... So we did what any civil person would, we went to the bar got really tipsy (by we I mean her) and sang karaoke til she got the brilliant idea to take me to my first stip club (ya ya, try not to laugh too hard I know I'm a square... but I'm working on that) ... so 3am comes at us fast as hell and she's feeling crappy again... so we go to denny's... all in all the night was pretty awesome, we kept her mind in a pretty happy (though boozed up) state and she is doing much better now. And today like 2 of my other good friends came to me with their worlds crashing down, man I hope mine isn't next. Though I am worried that my roommates are trying to screw me over with this place we are in... will have to wait and see. Oh well life's too short to worry for too long, think I'll go out for a drive

Ok so this is the dumbest thing ever... I was riding my motorcycle to class this morning and I get pulled over by this biker cop... This jerk writes me a ticket for $80 for... not wearing eye protection... I have a modular helmet with a visor... and as if this was not stupid enough he asks if I knew anyone who would be willing to help him with a cop training course on sobriety testing. GOD I HATE COPS IN PORT ORANGE!!!!
Oh the joys of School...
I really wish I had more time to myself sometimes. Hmm but the choices are basically good grades or good times... I try to balance both as best I can. I just got a Motorcycle over spring break (pictures pending) and have been riding absolutely everywhere. It is by far the best purchase I have made in a VERY long time. (though I really like my Wii, if only my parents would give it back to me... not the problem I pictured I'd have with the Wii.)
Anyways as always it's time to go study...
