so much has gone down since last friday, i've had virtually no time to sit down and relax. mostly because after getting over a bad case of what i initially thought was food poisoning (but now realize was actually a terrible viral infection that i should NOT have left untreated), i ended up with an equally bad infection in my chest and sinuses that knocked me out for about a week before i finally sucked it up and went to a doctor. no antibiotics, since the np i saw was pretty sure it was viral. thank whatever higher power you believe in for that one, because she turned out to be right and i got to get out of another agonizing week of meds that make me sicker than i was before.

unfortunately, my pretty new nose piercing got infected from blowing all that infected snot over it for a week. i'm treating it like any other infected piercing, and i'm hoping it'll get better on it's own. it seems to be doing ok today, so my hopes are good.

and while on the topic of piercings, i also gauged my ears up to 7/16", and i'm hoping to get up to 1/2" as soon as i can without pushing my body too hard. but that means i'll be needing new plugs and tunnels, so if anyone has any 7/16" or 1/2" sizes that they'd sell to me for cheap or trade for other jewelry i have, i'd be hugely grateful.

as far as the homelessness issue, i was able to move into my grandparent's house for the time being, but i'm really not sure how long it's going to last. i'm hoping to find another job soon and start saving up for my own apartment, but so far no luck. now that i'm feeling better though i'm going to be putting in a lot more effort.

thanks for the concerns and well-wishes. things could be a lot better, but they could certainly be much much worse.

anyhoo, i'll be much more present here and everywhere else in the very near future since i seem to have finally kicked this infection's ass!
