i remember when people used to post in this thing

anyway today was actually pretty cool. everyone at work said they liked the new hair. whether they meant it or not i dont know, but they said they did anyway. one girl in particular gave me the nicest compliment.

"you should totally keep your hair that color."
"why?"
"because your eyes look really pretty that way. the red hair makes your eyes look this beautiful aqua color."

that made my day. nobodyEVER compliments my eyes.

then, get this, i actually went out tonight. yup. i dropped by this dudes house. the guy whose house i have been going to tuesday nights for th last month or so. i needed his consultation on a tattoo im going to get. and i ended up hanging out with him and a few other guys all night. we went out for chinese, then caught the new jackie chan movie. and then came back and they made me watch two parts of the animatrix. ill come back to that. it was fun though. i dnot get out often so that was cool, but it was made more interesting by the fact i dont usually get along with other males and these guys are actually pretty cool.

now, back to the animatrix. im probably the only person who hadnt seen it at this point, and i still havent seen the whole thing. the part i saw was the two parts of the second renaisance. it was fucking amazing. and heart wrenching. i loved all the historical references. but at the same time, i found myself thinking, "shit, i hope they win." i know they wont in the long run, because that would not be a popular ending, but shit. going with that history leading up to the movies, mankind deserved what it got.

anyway, i still dont know if im going to make it tommorrow. plans have gotten jumbled and im not sure if im brave enough to try this on my own. so who knows. maybe.
