About Me
My number one passion is bartending. I love the way the night and the drinks just flow with the music and motions of the crowd. I love my vices, and feel no shame in giving in to temptation.
age: 26 (Aug 27, 1982)
MEMBER SINCE: March 2005
occupation: Rockstar Bartender at Club Firestone
sign: Virgo
makes me happy: Realizing more and more each day how liberating it is to be young and independent.
crush: A couple of very stupid boys
i lost my virginity: I think it's just been misplaced
stats: Dangerous Curves
70 some-odd days clean and sober thus far.
It was definitely time to change my name, now that I am only serving martinis and not guzzling them.
I must say that I am loving the sober life; I remember all the trouble I get in to, I never have a hangover, I am losing weight (Jager has sooo many calories!) and saving up money for school.
It's been a rollercoaster ride learning to deal with life without an escape hatch, but I must say that things are coming together nicely.
Against the advice of most of my sober buddies, I am still working at Club Firestone (WTF am I supposed to do, join a damn convent?!) I've turned down many-a-party and blunts placed nearly to my lips. I'm determined to keep my ass in line and my experiences so far are very encouraging.
Looking forward to scoring straight-A's this semester (I've got my nose in the books and my fingers crossed).
For any of ya'll that think sobriety is for pussies: try having an awful day knowing you'll not be heading to the bar afterwards for some liquid relaxation. It's frustrating sometimes to look life clearly in the eye, but begs for creativity, strength, and growth.
